RyGorr vs. Crafted
# Apr 10 2002 at 3:57 AM Rating: Default
To the Vah Shir, stick with your crafted, warriors need AC cause they are the one's taking all the damage. If the weight is the problem, buy str items (and sta for more HP). Leave Ry'Gorr to secondary melee and hybreds as a whole.

Ok...maybe I'm missing something.
In this site it recommends the crafted quest for level 25 to complete it.
So is what most of you are saying that if you aren't twinked with crafted, you may as well not do the quest at 25 because only a twink would find it to be good armor until about "28 or so"?
Come on! Is it really that bad? I had no opinion against twinking, but talk like that could make me develop one. Not because the twinker is bad for doing it, but because of the attitude it seems to be instilling in others that "anyone who's still using crafted at 28 or thirty is just nuts."
I know thats not literally what you are saying, but that is how it sounds.

well, 14 ac is pretty good. Before 30, breaking 8-10 ac on pants (untwinked), can be difficult. However with the bazaar and all the new legit gear that drops at lower levels you do have many other options. I think is what most are saying.

My argument on twinking : technically fine steel does not drop until level 25ish or so. so if you used something before that and didnt quest for it... your twinked. :)

Ac IS the most important stat for a warrior. Rygorr isn't really an upgrade. Crafted is very good armor for level 22, mostly only see on twinks at that level. if you aren't twinked, and have crafted, you are doing very well. If you are twinked, then just go with the best you can afford. But at 22, Crafted is very nice. Try to start upgrading by level 40 at the latest.
How long with Crafted?

I have a lvl 24 warrior with alot of crafted stuff, and I am wondering, what lvl should I stop wearing crafted? When does it get to bad for my lvl?

...No really good answer for that. 50 is a practical max, since then you'll have planes armor. Other than that?

If you can find something better, get it. Nuff said.

you should get to like 30 with crafted, then head to icewell keep and wait for some people to come in and kill dorfs, ask the people if u can loot the Royal Velium Frosted armor, VERY GOOD AC and some good stats. This should get u by till 50 at least.
