I don't know much about Firiona Vie server but I hear the only things that are still no drop are epic items and epic quest pieces. As such, this would be droppable. If, /boggle, someone were willing to part with this, how much do you think they could get for it?

Raid equipped characters on FV often end up beíng sold to the "ebay firm" upon being ditched by their owners.
Ebay guy then strips toon, sells gear and resells naked character. Never seen this up for sale, but FT 4 items are generally 300-400k.
Plat is then sold on ebay again.

You have no idea what items are suddenly for sale on FV when members of the two top guilds decide to call it quits and sell their toons to some dubious characters.
What? Ummm...why would they take no drop items away? All my no drop items are still no drop...

it is not that they took it away, it is that the FV server has some intresting rules(languages, trivial loot, almost no nodrop items)

OMG, i would die, many many times, for this neck piece. To bad the chance of my even seeing the inside of Vex Thal, let alone get essence of that thing you need to kill, is less than the chance I will ever see The Sleeper....and since The Sleeper has already been awoken and gone bye-bye on my server you see my chances are slim to none =(.

Considering the extreme (and by extreme, I mean 99.999% of all EQ players will never even get a shot at this) difficulty of getting this item you -will- have died countless times before having both the experience to be a part of a guild that is able to get to and kill the MoB that drops the quest peice as well as the high standing in your guild that warrents being given the item over the other dozens of people whom helped get it.

Would the Mana Regen of 8 on this item be counted as FT 8 and add to the 15 FT cap? I dont think HP Regen has any cap so I'm not worried about that, just wondering. But this is great for (Every class) Rangers, adds to our DS, HP & MP regen and ATK bonus with Ultravision added. I'd give everything I had just for this item.

I don't see how it would count as a flowing though item, since the items effect is unique, and is not labeled "flowing thought". Just like those robes that drop off the emperor in Ssra, those have mana regen as part of the effect, and they stack with FT as well.

The 15FT cap is a bad way of describing it. The cap is 15 points of worn mana regen. It includes most worn effects including this one. So all effects stack, but 15 total mana regen is your max.
Master Trezl, regarding the 'mana regen cap' : where did you get this info? From what I have read so far "officially", there is only the Flowing Thought cap at FT 15.
Of course, I also understand that Sony/Verant believes in letting the players "discover" game mechanics, kind of like how one might "discover" the insides of a VCR that didn't come with instructions by using a claw hammer. As with ability scores and skills, sometimes there DO seem to be unwritten caps that DO exist and can (and have) been confirmed by in-game testing. But where did you hear of the 'mana regen cap' ? I think this is something a LOT of players will be concerned about, regardless of whether or not they will ever actually be affected by it directly.

Mana regen cap has nothing to do with FT or not FT, it has to do with WORN.
This effect adds to the WORN mana regen total(which is capped at 15). There are other items in the game which add to the worn mana regen total, that aren't specifically called "flowing thought."
Your total mana regen maxes with total worn mana regen + bard song + spells. There *are* click effects that stack with the beastlord mana, druid mana, and enchanter mana regen spells. Then, there's bardsong. I forget what the "max mana regen" totals possibly are considering every possibly click item, worn item, AA and spell cast, with bardsong. If I remember correctly it's somewhere in the area of 75ish mana/tick
