Shadows of Luclin
Dropped off a new mob in Rathe Mountains for the new pre-SoD quest put in on the 2008.09.30 patch. Mob name: a Rallosian halberdier. Orc type model.
Whats this thing go for?
Well, I would check in the bazaar on your server (Firiona Vie), since FV is the ONLY place these can be sold. If you cannot find the price there, the rest of us Non-FV people sure won't know.
Does this still drop?

oh yeah for those that cant add 30/42 +35 fire damage makes it 65/42 add the fire debuff (witch i'll bet stacks with malo and stuff) this weapon is THE shizznit if you even think about melee epics dont post about VT

sorry Kaccee ,but you're wrong . the 35 fire dam is added to the basic dam of the weapon. making it a 30-65 damn 42 delay weap ( pending on how far the fire gets resisted .)

Im not so sure about that though... on the parse I saw of this weapon it parsed way above what a weapon that was 40s delay and 30s damage + 35 raw damage would do. I think the Fire Damage factors in there somehow because this thing parsed HUGE.

This thing would be better than the paladin epic, Fiery Defender, if it was 2 hand slash. Funny... all the other halberds are 2 hand slash. I suppose that, at the level you're gona get this thing, you are gona have loads of training points to pump into piercing...
Why would you need to pump training points into piercing? You HAVE been practicing every weapon skill to max each level, haven't you?
You haven't? No worries, note that when you hit the cap of 200 in 2hs at lvl 39, you cannot skill up in 2hs again til 51. This gives you 12 levels to practice your other skills.
Centi warspear is a dirt cheap weapon, that is great for practicing piercing (30 delay).

dude better yet get a toe tin'd corpse pitche fork like hella cheep and like 28/22 or some **** your skill will FLY up hell do that with all your melee skills find the cheepest weapon witht he loswest deley ***** how much damage it got if its 1 /10 use it why you will be useing it like a day before ya can chuck it ya can spend like 6k on practice weapons that are pretty good actualy and do all your skills besides epic smepic the thing was junk first expantion after epics came out they JUST NOW about to emprove them with a whole new quest for a whole new epic that will probly suck anyway

Depends on the person's/mob's fire resists. The proc is above and beyond the ratio + Fire damage modifier. And it's still 30/42 but has an additional minimum damage of 35 from fire damage if not resisted. Goldenrod would usually stand out as being the better of the two.

The spell is a target based AoE just like the druids quad line, these spells can hit yourself also if the mob you are casting on is close enough. But since this weapon would be quite useless on a mob that has a fire AE (mobs are almost always resistant to the same type of damage they deal, ae wise) it shouldnt matter too much if you get the debuff on yourself.

best ratio in the game is the 53/40 weapon from Tov, it doesnt have to pass any FR checks

srry but the diamond tipped war javelin from Uqua in GoD has a better dmg/dly than anything i have seen so far it is something like 74 dmg 44 dly.

There is no 53/40 weapon in ToV.. In luclin, the best raw dmg/dly on a weapon for those classes was the bloodied berserkers blade from seru, which is 52/40...
dont knock it. since when has a wepon with even modest dmg, done bane dmg this high and lowered the targets resistance to that bane dmg by 100?
only the most resistant to fire wouldnt be dropped by this. possibly recommended not using it on sol ro when PoP comes out.

another use for this weap is for raids on the icy mobs of velious or just about any mob w/ normal resists. make sure all the druids/wiz/mages/necros have fire nukes/pets/DoTs ready and do mad dmg all the while treating most any mob like vox.... offensively speaking, of course.

Not only is it 65/42 (if you get through any fire resistance), but the proc knocks 100 points off fire resistance, helping the extra damage land. If this proc is a good taunt (and I'd guess it would be), this is a bloody great tank weapon. Unbelieveable stats too.
