If you can make this armor and are on the Quellious Server, please send a tell to Klaaz. I would love to work my skills up, but since trolls can't make this armor, I would be more than happy to pay for it.

why is troll only armor a oger cultural smithing receipe? thats nuts. they need to change this to troll cultural now. :(

Does anyone know how one goes about creating this item? What is the Smithing receipe and where can the ingredients be found?
good to see trolls getting smithed armor. tose smithed weapons were a joke

Actually, unless you're a Troll, you can't wear this armor. So that puts you in the same boat as the rest of the non-troll WAR and SHD classes (and the other tanks as well).
Relax, you are in good company then. Rangers were not meant to be main tanks. Playing "second fiddle" isn't all that bad if you can do it properly. After all, if anyone dies in a raid, it's usually the MT. I'm glad I'm not them.

/agree Rangers do get the short end of the stick when it comes to AC, but then again, in high end game, they don't need it AS MUCH as the SK, Pallys, Warrior and to tell you the truth Clerics, Shamans, and Enchanters.
If the Ranger dies, it's no big deal... if the Main Healer/Tank/Slow/Mezzer dies on a big raid, there's going to be a much bigger problem... Verant took the time to significantly upgrade a Ranger's Damage potential post 55 because of their lack of defense. A Ranger's curse is his chain armor, just like an Iksar. And it seems as if Verant doesn't WANT us to have good defense.
