Merchants sell this for 13.649 with 113 cha. Still haven't figured out what it's for. Maybe just vendor fodder, or maybe once it's discovered what quest it's for it'll be one of those items that start selling for 10k each and dropping rarely and we'll all be smacking our heads asking why we didn't hold on to them until the next expansion!
That people know all the mobs this drop off, and that it's used in quests, but don't know what the quest is. Is Allakhazam just guessing, or do they simply not know the details? It'd be nice to know how it's used in quests so people could start guessing and maybe get it right.
BTW, these sell to merchants for 12.381 with 117 cha and Indifferent faction. Not a bad chunk of change for a useless (as of now) rock.

Mobs that have this item glow like the wurms in GD.
This stone is also dropping off fallen soldiers in the Umbral Plains.
