Ruins of KunarkI turned in 8 goblin bracers at lvl 23, and I made about a blue bubble worth of experience. Not too bad. Replacing bronze plate with Faydark ringmail was almost worthwhile; When I replaced my small bronze greaves and bracer with Faydark ringmail pants and bracer, I lost about 8 AC and gained +6 Charisma. Not too bad for a bard. It's also a nice green color, if you're going for that Green Arrow look.

I'm a ranger and I abhor the Green Arrow look. Why does everyone think that ranger armor always has to be green?
If you were me and I were you, would we still be friends?
Just so people know, i am a lvl 19 ranger and since im a ranger you would figure i would have good faction with my guild master, well... i have indifferent and when i tried to do this quest i didnt get anything. So for all you people doing the quest make sure you have better than indifferent faction with him or else you wont get anything.

This is true. When I first tried I could not do this quest, but then when you kill goblins, it raises your faction. I went on a raid of the goblin caves one night and that was enough to raise me to amiable and then do the quest.
But yes, don't give the bracers to him unless you are at least amiable.

Yes, it is possible to get a whole set. The piece you get is totally random. Turned in over 20 sets of bracers before I got them all. Also, the goblin fort in Warsliks Woods has a lot of battlemasters, and they're fairly close together. Just watch out for Grachnist the Destroyer..... ouch

Well i've been in lake of ill omen for the past few lvls killing gobs sarnaks and all that good stuff. Just found out about the faydark ringmail picked up 4 battlemaster bracers took um to the cpt and gave em to him. He gave me Faydark Ringmail pants. He conned amiably to me before i gave them to him.

i have the 4 bracers its very easy i took a group at lvl16 killed the battlemasters but cant figure out how to get good faction with "union of vie" says captian keatar anyone know what to kill?

These faydar ringmail peices are easy to obtain and if you hunt the spawn at level 18-22 you will get very great exp. you DO NOT have to be level 30 to get these items you just simply have to have good faction with the ranger guildmaster in feronia vie .... it takes 4x the bracers to do this quest

Charisma is a big deal if you aren't KOS to an NPC as it affects price. Also, some classes get more mana for their CHA, like Clerics. U think maybe they just aren't useful to you? +4 may not be much, but this would be great for newbs/low levels. I'm gonna give to my bro's lvl 3 DWF Cleric and my little Ranger.
ummm... LOL, charisma isn't what clerics need for mana, it's wisdom. charisma is for enchanters, bards and necro's for their charm spells. Besides, better faction is an easier way to improve prices, cause you could have all the charisma in the world, go talk to Boomba in WFP and still only sell a rat tooth for 6cp at most.
higher charisma has very little effect on low end items but you will notice differences for more expensive items such as jewels and higher level spells. All of my characters have two opal encrusted steins for 50 extra charisma when buying or selling to NPCs. You will get several extra plat for selling FS weapons. It adds up over the course of time.

Well... Wish them damned battlemasters would spawn faster, on Xeg when I play LOIO is overcrowded and people are starting to discover this, but would be very useful for lower classes (Sell for like 1.5pp per ac or sumthin =)) AND for bards who are just starting up charm kiting and have no lambent or very little, since it gives a higher cha boost anyways.

maybe i'm wrong but isn't charisma the worst of the stat increases? i'm a dark elf and plus 4 charisma means very little to me, npc's are still gonna hack me into little pieces.

I'm confused. The graphic shows that Barbarians can wear these, but the chart does not. Which one is correct?

yes barbbarians can wear it.i know a barb shaman on my server that has one. has a nice dark green look to it

The chart also says that leather pants weigh 0.0 stones :)
