Anyone happen to know what the Effect does?

This earring could be good for ANY class if you think about it...hybrids yeah might benefit with it too...but think about the necro's as well! With necro's hp = mana and extra mana doesn't hurt...so in otherwords sta = hp = mana + 100 mana = very nice! :P I bet I confused ya all but that's my 2 cents! lol

Gear from that gnome quest in CT is better than this and MUCH MUCH easier to get. I find it hard to believe I can get gear in a few minutes with a few groups that people in Vex Thal have slaved away at for months and months for a chance to get. This is the crap loot of VT.
I spend a lot of time soloing in PoP with Command of Druzzil (lvl 64 enc charm) - I often find it hard, unless you use pathing bugs, to be able to finish casting charm before the mobs reach you.
This earring would make Command of Druzzil cast in 4 seconds instead of 5 since CoD is considered a detrimental spell.

Still good, no one really does CT gnome quest, and at VT your looking for effects +raw hp/mana the gnome quests if i remember correctly are either 100hp or 100mana. this in fact is still really good. and theres other items that are more qualified to be called crap loot then this. Have had a few drop for guild, and many people still can use this as an upgrade.

Say a caster has past 200 Int. Not even 255 yet. 200. Every Int after that is worth 6 mana. In order to get this much mana in an Int item, it would have to be at least 16 Int to equal this amount of mana. This is NOT a crappy earring. Yes, it does fit a Hybrid moreso, but this earring most certainly would not meet the destroy button

You guys must be thinking exclusively about casters. This would be a very nice hybrid earring. Nice AC, lots of STA for extra hitpoints, and 100 mana to boot.
As Habeas also notes, it's not very difficult for an int caster to max their int. This would be a nice bonus for them to improve their mana pool without the use of int.

It does make for a nice necro item for those who have int maxxed at 255 already in other slots, and could use the sta for hps, and mana for their total pool availability

This is a great earring, bonus 100 mana is better than stats when your talking about level 60 equipment. Most casters and hybrids don't have maxed stamina either. No mater what class your playing AC is always welcome. There are better earrings out there, but it's not like they drop often enough for everyone to get one. You see something like this, the raid leader offers it to you, you don't have better, it's uber. Nuff said.
That being said, go get an earring of solstice.
