In short, VI is doing just what they need to.

Funny thing is the races listed can not be pal, clr, or dru either ;)
Though the thought of a Barbarian Paladin is very interesting indeed.

those races are mostly SK's and shammy's... they cannot be druids... or most of those other races...

According to several bits of game history, trolls did have paladins (of Mith Marr, I believe) in their ranks about the time of the Combine Empire and a short while afterwards. Some even mention the idea of the original trolls who left Kunark and settled near the ogres followed Marr and worked with the Prexus frogloks
