Got this today from "a frenzied bull shark."

I have been on MANY Kedge raids, and have actually sat camping this shark twice now. No one that I know has EVER personally seen this shark. whats the deal? also wanted to point out that this shark as well as the Ferocious shark do not appear in any beastiary listing for Kedge Keep, yet all other named mobs do. Does this Shark really exist?

The Kedge info isn't very well kept up. I sent in a screen shot along with level, spawn location, max hit, and drop info on a Ravenous Stilletofang and it has never been added to the site.
I have seen this shark though. The only named I have never seen is the Seahorse Patriarch.

Saw him two or three times like 2 years ago. Didn't get a gorget then. Last year I camped him for awhile while I was camping my 35 sv cold cloak, got him once, but got his common drop. I've spent over 50 days played in kedge, probably more, and this is definitely one of the rarest mobs there.

The reason this is so pricey is that it drops off a nasty little shark in a rarely visited underwater zone. Not the friendliest environment for a caster to hold a camp solo, as you'll know if you've ever tried to cast underwater with something hitting you quad for over a hundred a shot. =P
It's also an extremely rare drop on a rare spawn. I've been on numerous, numerous raids in Kedge Keep way back in the day and I've only seen it drop once from a few spawns.
If this price is correct shouldnt this item be at least Rare and not common? Or maybe the item is a common drop but the spawn itself is rare..But not sure how the common/rare is calculated..Well good hunting and safe journey to all.

If you look at the Item closer you will both see it is a NECK item. Not a shield, Not a off hand.

Because you can't put a charred guardian shield around your neck.
