be prepared.... if you don;t make it to the end you get nothing and can totally waste an hour.
I had no idea what the route was or what to expect, hit the final zone and couldn't get to the end before time ran out. really suck that you don't even get the stupid participation shirt if you don;t finish at all. Like the armor but left such a bad taste in my mouth to spend so much time trying and get nothing.

Lore: Big block letters on the front spell out: "GNOMISH SPIRIT!" Much smaller text above that reads: "Will run for..." On the back of the shirt is a list of the various Ak'Anon organizations, guilds, clubs, and pubs that supported the race. Most prominent is the logo for Sanfyrd Featherhead's Scrapyard, alongside their company slogan: "Taking your scrap for over 17 years." This item is only available seasonally. 17 pieces of silver is the anniversary raid event which requires at least two groups to have a reasonable chance to succeed at, or 1 group of top tier raid geared toons....
the named mobs seem to assist the trash mobs from way far away, but have a fairly decent single agro radius.

is an npc which originates the tipsy gnome race.
Tipsy also acts as the way points, which shift from race to race. use find to locate tipsy, run up to tipsy and hail tipsy to get flung across the zone toward the zoneline to the next leg of the race.
unrest... tipsy points you to another npc who resides in the basement in / around the tentacle terrors. <dibs dibster something> hail him and get at least a shirt.
currently, the first 10 to hail also get their choice of tipsy gnomework armor ornaments.
