Up to Date Fletching
# Dec 31 2006 at 12:23 AM Rating: Decent
I used these to skill up from 202 (the common stikin point for the skill) all teh way to 300. I did have massive failures at first because of the 335 trivial. At about 250 skill, I began making enough successes to break even, and from there on have a profit margin. I figured it up to about 2 platinum per arrow as cost (not combine, combine yields 10). I could typicaly resell these at 5-10p each. Many warriors would come through and buy a few stacks, sometimes all of them. It would not be hte fastest way probably, but a no risk way to make arrows profitable if they are an uncommon type for sale on your server.
sucsess rate?
# Dec 04 2003 at 9:57 AM Rating: Decent
With my fletching at 203 I made up two stacks of each component needed to make these arrows. After attempting 40 combines I came out with only 4 sucsessful combines(10%). Anyone else been trying to make these having similar results?
#REDACTED, Posted: May 30 2003 at 4:23 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) okay, dont wanna skill up to 250? dont wanna spend the pp to get them!? well you can FARM THEM! THANK GOD!

Most Rangers on a Tallon Zek raid have endless quiver. Most other classes use cheap arrows cause to buy good arrows just isn't worth it if your just pulling with them.
Lucky Deal

One time in Felwithe, I was just looking at what the vendors had and I saw these arrows. They were a couple silver each for some reason, so I decided to stock pile. Now I have tons of these arrows. Just curious if any one else has experienced something like this.

I bought 160 of these arrows for 1sp 2cp each, or a total of 1pp9gp2sp, from the same fletching vendor in Felwithe a few weeks back. I then sold them in the Bazaar on The Rathe for 9pp9gp EACH, or a total of 1584pp! Not bad, eh? So, yes, I've experienced this too...

probably sold by a character that was levelling up from 200 tot 250 fletching. Sold back to vendor. Maybe just maybe they were filling up his/her slots. ....

I'm guessing that price per data up there was pre-endless quiver. I'm skilling up on these right now and I'm lucky if I can sell them for 5pp each in the bazaar. Usually they drop to 3 or even 1 pp each before they sell.

# Mar 14 2003 at 3:38 PM Rating: Decent
are you serious? at the moment the best arrow i can make has only 5dmg... i expected the feir'dal arrows to be really expensive so i never checked for them in the bazaar... will look for some now...

if you are having a hard time selling these and are on karana give neohutar a tell
Cost to make a stack

With a CHA of 136 these cost me about 31pp to make a stack. A nice alternative if you want to get your Fletching past 202 instead of making Darkwood or Shadewoods bows.

31pp per stack to make assuming no failures, and these things trivial above 250.

yeah, ranger is there. What's missing is ROGUE! WTF?!? I hope they at least put rogue on the tunare restricted arrows...
RE: WTF?
# Apr 23 2003 at 8:54 AM Rating: Decent
A rogue using a bow? WHY? Rogues get awesome crits using thrown weapons. To the best of my knowledge (and I may be wrong), only Warriors and Rangers score crits using bows. If I played a rogue and had a choice on using a weapon that I could score a crit with or using a weapon that I would never crit with, hands down . . . give me the possibility of scoring a crit!

But hey, I that's me. my 2cp worth.

Ummm... look closer. I see Ranger listed, just on a different line. Plus if you look at the screenshot Ranger is listed 3rd, PLUS the arrow has +3 fire damage - not listed on the info. Means it's a 14 dam arrow NOT 11, subject to saves, etc...

Ummm...look closer. If you look a bit harder than the other guy did you'll see your wrong about the fire dmg info not being listed. its on the screenshot and info as well. did I forget anything?

I notice that this arrow doesn't say Tunare only.. hmm.. on EQTraders they said it was.. oh well, maybe they fixed it.

The Tunare only versions are called Blessed Champion Arrows. These ones here are the non-imbued type. The Tunare restricted ones are similar to these but have an extra +1 fire DMG and 20 extra range.

I gues... :)
# Jun 14 2002 at 4:55 PM Rating: Decent
haha yeah I SUPPOSE you could click non stop if you got the same delay bow, but I bought a stack of these and they run 250pp a piece. That's because they're fletched and it takes a while to get there I suppose. So I wouldnt suggest it if you weren't filty rich or you got a tough epic mob you're soloing LOL

LOL ... Brain fart on the delay issue.. it's been about 16 months since I played my ranger full time.. hehe *blush*

# Jun 14 2002 at 8:37 PM Rating: Default
I really doubt you will see many other classes then rangers using these. I also only think you will see rangers that have enough AA to pump into endless quiver using these, the cost without would be horrible. Its kinda discusting how many arrows of these type you could go through with say a windsabre hasted with a fleeting quiver Ugh, nasty stuff.

# Jun 14 2002 at 4:35 PM Rating: Decent
These are just SICK!! no delay? just snare and run backward an nonstop click the 'range' button to kite. This must be a typo.. or what do you have to kill to get them?
RE: OMG
# Jun 16 2002 at 7:20 PM Rating: Decent
You E-bay! You must! 47 Ranger and you haven't figured out that arrows don't have a delay?
RE: OMG
# Jun 14 2002 at 6:11 PM Rating: Decent
Bows have no damage, arrows have no delay.
RE: OMG
# Jun 14 2002 at 6:28 PM Rating: Decent
umm, haha, not quite. Bows have both damage and delay, the arrows just add to the maximum capable damage.
RE: OMG
# Mar 23 2003 at 1:55 AM Rating: Default
/sigh Ok Kids one last time. Damage=arrow dam+bow dam.
delay= bow delay only.
range = bow range + arrow range.
do your own math, and damage bonus is calculated by level, making higher level players hit harder, thats all.

As far as to my knowledge delay is calculated with the delay on the bow you are using (Same with damage and range) So in other words you wouldn't suffer any "extra" delay from using these arrows. ;)
