Is that screenshot right? It can go in range? That would be by far the best part of this. To have this and the Spear of Fate... /drool
Has any race other than Iksar ever completed this quest? And if so, what is the best way to improve the necessary factions?
You may also get your trooper faction to non-KOS and kill exlorers in LOIO. Loot their knives and turn in 4 at a time to the Trooper halfway between Cab and the Lake. Much bigger faction hit than scorpions or bone chips. If you don't want the negative FV faction on the explorer kill, then have someone else kill them and loot the knives. Turning the knives in gives positive to Troopers, Crusaders, Mystics, Swifttails, and Residents with no negative faction hits.

If you want to do this quest wouldn't you have to raise your Scaled Mystic faction so that you could enter the Shamman guild or does it raise with your Trooper faction?
Yes, all shaman races may complete the quest, as is now true with Greenmist (the similar long-quested shadowknight weapon).
Best way to get faction for it is killing tons and tons and tons of sarnaks, goblins, and doing the mini-quests (scorpion pincers come to mind).

Does the effect of this item require an emerald or any other gem?

i've gotten my 7th cudgel and working towards my last one, woot! I'll let you know when I get it =P
But I would highly doubt that it would need any kind of reagent to cast the spell. When's the last time you saw an item that you needed a reagent to use the item? (other then potions)

The Beguiler's Robe has a right click Rune IV, but it uses a peridot.

I was hoping the 7th cudgel looked cool but it just looks like the 6th cudgel (looks like rune etched warhammer- with all the sharp points it looks more like a stabbing weapon lol)
I'm hoping that this final cudgel in the line of 8 looks alot better then that. Like the greenmist has a unique graphic to it that you can tell it's a greenmist.

it now stacks with everything cept avatar and i think wolf form, so focus stacking issue has been removed since it was implemented.

When will i be able to use the click effect? =) Ok i don't have it yet. Maybe not even get it at all *sigh* Still need 3 more None lore "Iksar skull with an X". Im lvl 54. Will i be able to use the effect or do i have to lvl more? Thx.
Im pretty sure at lvl 50 you can use the clicky!
Everything avatar stacks with. Exactly everything. All the buffs are in the same slot.

40 STR DEX AGI is nice, but it dont, and wont (according to the 3 GMs who answered my petition, feedback and mail) stack with anything, ever.
Its a "cool buff to save mana"
Since I am 60 and always focused, even my pet is, and my group khura's focused, the proc is just useless.
Yea I know, its an avatar type spell, so it should act like it, I kept spamming this in /feedback and /bug for over 2 months

But what the GM said is right, the stats are still uber... try to find a better range item guys.. STA 10 WIS 15 50 HP 75 mana and saves, heck it rock.

It LOOKS like a miniature Avatar buff (increases the same exact stats, for the same duration, but by 40 and not 100). If it's anything like Avatar, it will stack with most everything except certain attack buffs I think.
This would basicly be the same effect as the VP shammy hammer of silverwing if it stacked with everything. I am guessing 'working as intended'.

40 str/dex/agi, 90 atk. Useless? Not really. Proc.. no.. it's a targetable buff. Decent set of buffs to line up prior to Carnage is: Talisman of Kragg, Riotous Health, Deleriously Nimble and Mortal Deftness. (Yes, it does stack with ALL of those spells.) Stacking issues (as in no Carnage) occur with: FoS (single/group), HoS, wolf forms, Girdle of Karana, Boon of Garou and high end STR buffs. If nothing else, even at no mana, I can throw Carnage/Riotous Health on someone to give them some buffs to go on. So it only lasts 5 minutes.. it's free, just have an emerald in your possession. Also, when I finished quest, Venril Sathir in Howling Stones (yes, you do have to spawn VS in HS to finish) dropped: Mask of Fright, Ac 10, Intimidation 5%, str/int/wis 6, sta 5, cha -10, hp/mana 30, sv dis/pois/magic 10, wt. 1.0, all/all, Cazic-Thule worshippers only. Picked that up since I was only CT follower there.

Sorry, but Cradossk finished this what, a year ago? Too bad Allakhazam didn't put it in then, we might have a few more skulls-on-a-stick around. As for Abani, I'm willing to bet hard plat that the info used came from the Champions of Cabilis site, and NOT from doing what Cradossk had to do, which was bust his butt on each and every step. So please don't give false credit.
(Edit: typos. And to those that are bumping my score because you can't take the truth... too bad.)

Kudos to Cradossk of the Champions Of Cabilis for his completion of mapping out the Ikky Shaman Cudgel. Working on part 3 now.
