Is that price correct?!? Can I really sell a stack of these arrows for 378pp? Geez, I've got 160 of these in the bank, and I fletch more all the time as I attempt to raise my fletching skill. Do these get purchased often in the bazaar?
there are 3 types of fletching kits, one is the planejane one you buy from vendor, the other is also vendor bought *still cheap price* but called Planar Fletching Kit, and also one tinkered, Colapsable Fletching kit. the one needed to make these arrows is the Planar Fletching kit. FYI, you only realy need the plane jane fletching kit and the planar *if you have PoP* if you plan on making arrows/bows from planes items. *hence name PlanarF.K.* You can get the tinkered one but there is nothing special about it, just the price the tinkerer will charge you =;-)
Aye hon you are correct on the AA. It takes a lot of mental toughness to save up 9 AA points especially raiding--you keep looking at the AA and wanting to click on something else as you save up the big collection of points.
On the arrow. Coupled with any bow, the arrow adds a considerable amount of damage. Cosider using with say a Sarnak war bow and you have what some have termed as the Everquest Uzi.
Actually I was was going to comment on your delightful little endquote there. I found it to be most funny.
It's a saving throw of the dice, shooting lots of arrows at a mob with high MR will end up with it making the save more often than not, when these get fixed you will defintaly know when they lost thier saving throw on the dice.
this is the best. Usually all the mobs you are fighting have some kind of magical essence, espically if you go to Ssra, Akheva or Vex Thall. Magic is such a wide category of creatures it far surpasses the normal elemental type acrylia arrows.
Actually, considering the difficulty of making these, with the accrylia bits, these are mainly going to be used for Rangers with Endless Quiver. I can go through 140+ arrows a night just on pulls etc, and I do not yet have Trueshot. The cost of making 100 of these in time and effort would be obscene. Most commonly, I have heard that Rangers who have just gotten Endless Quiver get these made or make them, one of each damage type, for use. However, as far as I know the elemental damage aspect of these is thus far non-working, making them not as good as they would appear. Once this gets corrected, yeah, these will be some of the best you can find out there for arrows.
Don't mobs have to save vs. magic to resist the damage? I would think the tougher mobs would resist it every time. Its not bane damage, its like a spell.
