just my 2 cents on this.

As a Master Tailor on Innoruuk (175) I can tell you that while Acrylia Reinforced isnt too difficult to make, (very sucessfull even with a 244 trivial), this is not an item that you will see for sale very often, for several reasons. First off, all Acrylia Reinforced trivials at the same level, which means its just as hard to make a reinforced tunic as it is to make a reinforced mask. Secondly, the profit margin for this item is very small. You may spend 100p for the components, but you probably wont be able to sell this for more than 300p. In comparison, you can spend 200p on the components for the Reinforced tunic, but sell that for 3500p.

well, honestly this item isn't worth the 600pp that the pricing says it is. at least on vallon zek it's not. spider fur belt, which is pretty easy to get albeit a 50+ drop in general runs for around 500pp and it's much better, more ac, hitpoints, et cetera. they're always being sold in the commons or bazaar or wherever depending on the server.

just my 2cp,

dedlysilent 43 monk
missgiggly 33 chantress
and a buncha little'uns too!

Heh, honestly too, i don't think this belt is worth much either specially when there are much better drops elsewhere... specially for all those toons that can use MORE than LEATHER armor, but if yer a one of those armor limited toons and worse yet... u need to keep yer weight down to avoid penalties, then this item will be slightly better
...also notice that this item can be used on yer lvl 1 twink monk, or a medium lvl toon that can't yet go kill lvl 50+ kobolds in Velketor's for better loots (atleast)

Personally i've been helpin a guildee of mine (nowdays a lvl 60 hafling rogue) to raise his tailoring through Acryalia armor (he's at some 224 nowdays) for more than 1 year (with C3 and lots of bought and loaned WIS stuff he reaches some 240+ WIS... if only i could lend him my Shield of Bane Warding), anyway, the last run he collected some 160+ Flawless Hides (before the pathing change it was like a breeze... my Druid Snared-Feared and he backstabbed it to death fast, nowdays it takes longer cuz mobs take a bigger stroll and wolfs will add most of the time) since ALL kinds of Hopper Hides drops from hoppers at random chances, sometimes u endup with just 3 or 5 Flawless Hides for a 2 or 3 hour run with many other useless hides for yer tailoring lvl (as u see, its lots of fun), and a matching number of Acrylia Bonning... that is also random drops but more common than Flawless, i think (which is also a fun part), and after some long weeks collecting all that ammount of hides and bonnings and at 240 WIS i managed only some 11 or 14 (i don't recall exactly) skillups... and still many more to go till Tailoring 250!!!

I'll tell ya this, Tailoring is the hardest to reach GM status cuz unlike all other tradeskills, u can't buy ingredients for skillups from the vendors (its very easy to get Cooking to 191 in less than a week, and brewing probably isn't much harder)... in fact Tailor GMs deserve respect for the sheer ammount of time they wasted getting up to that point because they kept Smiley: banghead till they got it.

Sooo if ppl come from nowhere demanding any kinda of acrylia piece for the ammount they think its worth... good for them, it shows willpower... but will probably left u out to dry, since most tailors will just smile and keep doing their skillups ;)

Btw, on tradeskills i refere to EQTraders and they say about Reinforced Acrylia (unlike this page's recipe):
1 boning: mask, bracer, gorget
2 boning: belt, cap, cloak, gloves, shoulderpads, sleeves

As such belts will take TWICE the number of bonnings required to make neck pieces...and twince the bonings will probably require twice the number of kills to aquire the acrylia (which is what almost everyone uses for skillups)... so feel free to buy all excessive surplus tradeskills products or the much farmed dropped stuff that is so common in Bazaar for as low as u want :)

PS: Did anyone mentioned that Hoppers are not always up on Dawnshrowd Peaks??? Or that sometimes it takes many days till some high lvl ppl kill the Sambata Leader to despawn them and replace them with Hoppers??? Fun fun

Come on, guys. If the price is NOT right, make some entries to correct it. As a minimum, tell others in your posting what YOU think it should go for. Flaming the price doesn't help anyone except your pitful egos....oops, now I'm doing it too....sorry about that. Constructive posts help everyone, flames don't.

If you want one, you'll pay what the tailor charges - not what some knucklehead who doesn't have a CLUE as to what it takes to make one *thinks* they should go for.

100 plat? LOL! Keep dreaming!

100pp for Reinforced Acrylia Armor??

Not even worth the time wasted getting either the flawless hides not the acrylia... much less the time of a 180+ tailor.

Good luck trying to find out ppl selling at that price.
