Great name on this item. Apparently it is an odd-looking, or at least sized weapon?

It is dropping in modern times, at least on progression:

We could use a modern item window pic of this item.

We would really like a shot of someone wielding it to judge if it is indeed odd/huge.

I, too, have a story to tell...
<screen begins to fade away, then comes back, young druid named Divinentia standing by the PoD lift in GFay, with a 26th seasoned cleric talking to her>

I was using my newb club for awhile now, and was excited to see my 1hb was at 16! now t lvl 2, this is a pretty good thing, mind you, especially considering the weapon of choice... my aunt, a lvl 52 druid, gave me a scimitar, and pretty soon my 1hs was at 20 by the time i made lvl 5... well a cleric named Malyenya hailed me and asked if I could use her assistance <I was down some change for spells, like 5sp>... I told her, and the next thing I know, I am being handed this Stone Thunder <when I go into a different view, my mouth hits the keyboard b/c the thing towers me> and 10pp... needless to say I was thrilled...
well a couple levels later, I was handed a Velium scimitar, and sold my stone thunder for 10pp <kicks herself in the face>... I got a blackened mace for free by a guildie at lvl 15, but I want my stone thunder back... :(
i know that the mace is better, but I miss the darn thing... if nyone is on bertoxx server next time i get on, please please please sell me one of these things for a reasonable price <100pp most i will pay>

My cleric still uses this.
It's bigger than she is - and great for a laugh.
You get a lot of response to this one!

This Weapon ROCKS !!!

At 14th lvl I was weilding the SHINING STAR OF LIGHT (DAM 6, DELAY 28, ABILITY: CLEANSE).
though a good weapon, the STAR was only hitting for about 10 pts on average. Knowing that Clerics are support players, this was not a problem when grouping. However, when traveling from zone to zone, it really sucked when roaming MOBs would jump me and all I could do was nickel and dime them when my mana from casting FUROR and SMITE ran out. But thanks to a generous player many levels above me, I can now confidantly travel knowing that I can deal about 20 pts of damage!! This is a much needed asset to the traveling / questing cleric that likes to solo.

I actually had a similar experience myself, though the conditions seemed strange. I just dinged my shaman to 9 and was eagerly giving SoWs to all the youngin's at the Qeynos gate. Summoning my own food and water meant that I was completely self sufficient...

Well, I decide to whack a few gnoll pups for faction since everyone else seems preoccupied with other mobs, head to the bank, and see a player there, nude. I figure the poor guy is picking up some food for a long corpse run, and drop a SoW and SoB on him. I didn't con him, just buffed, no questions. He checks my equipment... and the next thing I know, he's handing me a Stone Thunder and a Lizardscale Mantle! Considering that I was using a Rusty spear and tattered shoulderpads, I was overjoyed.

Then the racial problem hit... a Barb couldn't use it. Well crud... I can't just sell such a beautiful gift, so I transfer it over to my cleric... Needless to say... my cleric can now WHOMP!

While I'm not sure why someone would just give one of these away (other than making the week of a youngin'), I suspect that the reason comes from it's LORE status... and that it doesn't add anything other than a real great ratio. No stat adds or procs... so 'better' weapons can be found, depending on what you want/need. By level 25, a Cleric shouldn't be meleeing anymore... so one would probably want a weapon that increases Wisdom, resists, etc.

<smirks>I'm not twinked... I just have powerful friends.
