What fake news? I do not see any reference that is it in stock on npc. In fact if you read a couple of posts down you will see 2 discussions on the fact they are player made only and the reason why they would be on an npc merchant.
Not exactly trivial at 17 pottery ...

Although the pot may be trivial at 17, the unfired pot is not trivial until 56. So if you're making your own, it's 56.

Just to be sure, I checked with Audri and she said she does not sell pots. She did sell some pot to some guy named K... and he got so wasted he thought he had a vessel. But no pots from her on a reliable basis.
#Kirkagi, Posted: May 07 2003 at 2:24 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) You can buy a freakin' pot in PoK on Audri Deepfacet at 409 763. for about 1 platinum piece. Kthx bye!!

Although this person doesn't sell pots *normally* she does in fact sell pots she bought from other players. I still find your post helpful to those too lazy to make their own pots and hopeful that someone had recently sold one to her.

It amazes me how some people can supposedly "live" through 55 levels and not know the simplest things about how the game works, like the difference between a merchants regular inventory and the stuff that others sell to them. Next time you want to show your arrogance please make sure you know what the hell you're talking about :)

Pots are not sold on any vendor by default, they are only player made.

DEEPFACET=jewler duh! why would a gem merchant that sells Planar jewlers kit have a pot? Someone must have sold it to her after working at the nearby wheel and kiln.

Thanks for the mis-information.

A pot can not only be made by smithing, as stated in the header of this item. It can also be made by (surprise, surprise!) pottery.
Recipe: large block of clay, metal bits, flask water and a pot sketch combined in a pottery wheel, and finish off with a HQ firing sheet in a kiln.
Happy tradeskilling.

hehe, a favorite in the bazaar seems to be to link the items "Pot" and "smoker" back to back, which gives the appearance of a link to an item called "pot smoker" until you click on it.
