I must say this is a very nice item to use on any int caster, especially necros since you're going to need the HP. I've looked around and there aren't very many items comparable to these, droppable ones at least.

how come when i type this item into the quests section (to search for it) - it does not come up?

My RL friend is the only 250 skill de smith on the prexus server. He has made several pieces of this armor and it is always rough to make. A tunic or pants require 3BD each one or two for smaller pieces. The BD's are required for the celestial temper to imbue the adamantite rings required for each mold.
Anyone know the skill level and recipe required for these items?
As always you need to go to www.eqtraders.com for the leatest recipies and other related tradeskill information. If it is not there, chances are no on knows.
In this case I am pretty sure recipy is there, and most people would agree that you probably want 255 effective (meaning with you +smithing items) skill for this.

i notice it says that you can obtain these legging at level one. does anyone know how i would go about getting a pair. what skills do i need to have and what items do i need to have. seem like a great int boots for level one. if anyone can pass along complete info on how to get these it would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Most things made by tradeskills have 1 as level required to obtain. It is a bit misleading, especially since these have a recomended level of 45.
It is cultural armor, made by dark elves with high smithing skill. It requires blue diamonds, and a few other ingredients. Not really level 1 gear.

If I'm not mistaken, it would be quite possible to raise your tailoring skill all the way up on a character at level 1 if you were supplying him from another character.. Why you would want to do this I don't know but it is possible.. That being said, it would require either a big bank account or a high level character to obtain the components necessary to make these items.. AND since these have a recommended level of 45 they either aren't equippable until 45 or they would have severely reduced stats on characters below this level.. of course the level 1 could sell this item and make enough money to maybe buy something without the level restrictions.. ;) but primarily these items are intended for higher level tradespeople..

if you were inclined to do it all on your own, you'd probably want to make your theoretical level 1 whatever.. a master of various skills so you aren't begging cross-trade supplies off other players..
tailoring for padding/swatches, brewing for tempers, pottery for BD powder, medium clay jars for dye... and such
