I finally finished my rangers 1.0 yesturday and I have to say I don't plan on going back to plane of hate (or Karnors Castle) FOR A LONG TIME. I went up there at level 53 with a friend of mines 70 beastlord...We didn't know what to expect if we ran around trying to kill alot of random stuff. So we found our ways to the stairs outside of the Maestro of Rancor building and camped the mistress of scorn for 12-14 hours the past two days. That is a very safe camp with only a slim chance of not getting a single pull, unlike most of the camps I have read about on here consisting of 2+ named which could actually save you alot of time if you are lucky. The Mistress of Scorn only poped three times for us, the first time was during the first hours of our camp and the rest were at the last... We were suprised when she poped twice in a row which made my friend suspect something and his feeling was right (lol). I got my emerald and after all that work in the plane of hate he came with me to see me holding both of the swords, he was suprised to get two yellows of AA exp when I did the turn in so he got 3 aa during our hate time and I went from 53 to 55. I Just wanted to share my Plane of Hate experience with you all, If it helps you with your camp in any way...I Guess me posting this wasn't a waste of time lol.

Started camping this on Friday night and today it finally dropped...killed the Magi, Lord of Loathing, Lord of Ire and the Mistress several times with failure to return the elusive SEoC. Was told to camp the Coercer in the NW most corner of the zone so I moved my friends to that camp...killed several place holders no pop. Finally was sent tell from a shadow knight who had just killed "an eerie chest" to let me know it was rotting on it. Although this is a long camp its no worse than the shard hunting for the cleric epic. I suggest camping the locations of the mini bosses and especailly the eerie chest and do OOC's constantly more than likely peeps will help you out...Goodluck and hope this helps

Went up with small raid 8 toons lost 3 to RL found lord of Ire with one of his cronies got him with a 65 wiz, 55 dru, 51 cleric, 46 nec and me a 56 Ranga. first time up for my epic peice second time up for the guild first time got nuthin this time paydirt great group brought me back from the brink so I could get this guy since i have lousey gear was no small feat for them.

After spending only about 12 hours in PoHate I finally got my SEoC to drop. Killed the Dragon Lich and he was only the second rare that I had spawn while I was partnering easily with a 67 shm.

Up in Hate couple nights ago camping on steps leading into area where the Hand of Maestro spawns. With my Cleric (65), partner's warrior (65), a paladin (61), and two chanters (56 and 65). We were there to get the essence of vamp for the chanters and the hand for the warrior, but I was hoping for a SEoC if we killed any Mini's. Lo and behold Magi P`Tasa spawned..and dropped the SEoC. Of the current folks with us...only one had a high lvl ranger, and he already had his Earthcaller. So my warrior partner was allowed to loot the SEoC for my 65 ranger who is now the proud owner of both parts of epic 1.0
Keep faith fellow rangers...the SEoC drop is full or horror stories of endless camps and failed drops...but on one trip up, not even really looking for that item...it dropped first time...so it can happen. Good Hunting !

I was told by a guildie (who insists repeatedly) that the SEoC drops off of yard trash (I'm not buying it...yet) After several failed sessions in Hate NO SEoC...is there truth to this myth?
a haunted chest mini-boss called "an eerie chest" also drops the shattered emerald of corruption.

Coercer dropped for me tonight. 3 kills of her over 3 nights. Failed run on innoruk night before killing her also
