Look at the picture, it says both Ear and Face, which makes it a pretty interesting item.

Dropped off a Grimling Officer during one of the portions of the Grimling war... I didn't initiate the quest so I don't know details on how the whole ordeal gets underway, but after so many waves the officer pops and drop the hand in peice and a loot item usually. Didn't win the roll on it, but gratz to the other monk who did, and I'll be trying for one until I nab one. Much better then the 2ac 35hp 25mana earrings that so many high level use lately.
What mob(s) drops this? The ac/hp on this is kickass for attainable to lvl 35, it's better than what I (and a number of other 50-60 chars) use. Would replace my wolf fang earring in a heartbeat.

Well what if your aim is really bad and you miss guess they wanted to make sure it would stick even on you ear.

Iguess you havent seen some of those body piercing fanatics have ya I know i have seen some with the same earring in there nose ear cheek bottom lip etc so as far as earrings goes I think verant should get up to date with the times and make all earrings face ear and waist( i.e. belly button) just so they can stay current with the current fashions

One flaw I can see to that cunning plan. How many fantasy characters have you heard of that go into the whole piercing thing to that extent? Hmmm? Personally, just because its fashion in RL doesn't mean it should be in the game. It doesn't fit the genre!

Well, the old female dark elf model if you look closely while she's naked, has a naval piercing.
