Does anyone know if this helm has a graphic or not? Just curious, my DE cleric is 39 and thinking about smithing a little later down the line. :)
Old question, but any way does have graphic. Typical upper jaw skullcap look on SK.

The time and money you need to create this stuff will take you into your mid-fifties.skill required in excess of 200 and would still have a 30% chance of failure.The amount of money to raise your skills to that level would be best used sitting in EC,unless you have plenty of backers wanting this stuff.The recommended level is 45,therefore would be useless to anyone below that level.(or nearly so)I sat and watched a DE smith try to create me a BP in Neriak a while back.His skill was at 230 with enchanted smithing hammer.Enchanter had cast his Int boosting spells on him and still failed 7 times.The ingrediants needed plus the failures added up to several days loss in a period of about half an hour.This was with the Old Tier'dal armors,not the new 51 AC BP.
I too would love to have a full set of this.Good luck in getting there,but you would be better served trying to level up close to recommended level to get this one

this is a VERY nice item for those of us who arn't very high level or too poor to afford very very expensive equipment I wonder what you need to make it and when its trivial?or when can I start making it(I am a dark elf smith)
The Trivials for this stuff is supposed to be 250, but it must be like 300 at least in reality. A friend of mine is a GM DE Smith and with a Chanter boost can get 254 INT. He still fails FOUR out of 5 times on this stuff, so I reckon to make a full set, you are looking at 500kpp. If that don't put you off, check the stats of all these items for SV's. What? There arn't any??? Nuff said. While the AC and other stats make good reading, and nobody can deny it looks realy Cooool, the lack of SV's make this armor near useless to anyone over the level required to wear it.
Just MHO of course. But He don't get any orders for this stuff. o)
