I looted about 80 Xakra Silkworms in SW Thicket and none of these dropped a tooth. I'd recommend hunting elsewhere.
They drop best off of the Xakra Larva in the pit around Shar Vahl
These are hardly a common drop. I would say 1 in 8 to 12 will drop these... and that might be a bit generous.
