This item was changed a couple patches ago:
AC 35 Stamina 20 Charisma 10 Wisdom/Int 20 100 Hps 100 Mana and 12 to all saves.
So pretty decent belt now. :)

Anyone who knows anything knokws that by the time you get to being able to obtain this belt those stats are not something you worry about any more and if they are you have issues. I wouldnt give up my Bone Clasp Girdle on my necro for this 20 INT or not ill keep my nearly 100hp

My guess is the person who posted that is prolly a dumb warrior. This might not be that great for melees, but its a great item for casters/chanters.

I just did a search and there's nothing available for an enchanter that has
near as much AC AND INT AND CHA
not to metion the other stats.

Hey Nexcat, please have your ducks in row before you start talking out your ***. Bards use MANA and are int based casters. Granted we only use it for two songs, we still use mana. Our higher level charm song requires mana and we also have an AE dmg song that uses 800 mana.

ya and with AA fading memories, mana make a bard an awesome puller even... now to get people let us have FT items a tad more.
Not a bard myself...but when ur bard i pulling or raid and you are racing against a guild who invades ur camp ....he dies ..out of divine rezzes.....pulling AMY or the General in Fire....and he is low on mana and health with tons of adds he still needs to fae off...

there is a few higher level songs that work on mana pool i know sounds weird but check it out ask ya local bard hehe hes right

BTW the Blood drops this. he is the mob you fight and kill to spawn the Emp.

What's the stats on that belt that drops fairly commonly in ME from zone trash again - AC20 Str15 Wis15? And they're substandard for the people hunting there generally. Put 75-100hp/mana on it, and maybe it'll be useful, but given the calibre of people even getting close to engaging Blood, this would be more use as a single Iron Ration. Thx rotting loot.

Because bards uses CHA for charm, and INT for mana (yes, apparently they use mana for some of their songs).
But many other clases could benefit much from this belt, although I think it would be best used by a caster or SHD.
And yes, this COULD also be a monk item! :)

No, your mixed up. Bards have no mana. Enchanters need INT and CHA the most in this game. Bards, somehow, get their power from their voice. Yet, you are right. Bards do need alittle CHA and INT.

Bards use mana for their charm songs. They are INT based casters, as a matter of fact. What hurts them is that their own mana songs wont help them regain mana.... AND they get a max meditate of ONE.
As to the item above... it is very nice. While it is true that those who can do this raid have better... at what point does one draw the line between uber and unreal? Think about it... how awesome can VI keep making items and still have it truly challenging for those who play at that level? Sure, if the belt was 30int 50 ac 20 str 20 dex 20 cha +25 to all saves with flowing thought VII, some would say, "That is truly worthy of this raid" but the personwearing said item would be rather overbuffed? Oh well, this is just a thought. :)

Bards also use it for an aedd, think it's 400something damage,havnt' used it in a while =P
Not only do bards have mana, we are the only class that are unaffected by manadrains and for lack of a better discription mana addition spells.
Also we use cha a lot for mez(less after 53 as the mez we get at that lvl is really not resisted much w/ or w/o high cha), and cha is only a minor factor in charm. going from between cha of 110 or something in that area to cha of 150 something at 51, mez resists plummited(even though it was still unreliable, don't really get a good one b4 53) while i could not really tell a difference in resist rates in charm. this is further supported by VI's releasing what cha does and a clarification on cha used in mez/charm
