Has a Chance to drop from Camps eight and nine in Grim Forest from the boss for each camp, along with a chance for the FT 1 Mask / FT 1 sword, FT 1 staff, or the clicky RGC totem
I mean no disrespect to any of the posters who have left comments here previously, but I suspect most of you are missing the point; this ring has 75 MANA! /bonk
Since the need for Enduring Breath is extremly situational, and becasue there are many EB items that MUCH easier to aquire (ala, Bazaar), nobody in their right mind who is specifically seeking an EB item is going to make an attempt at this item.
This item's true value is in it's mana bonus which is exceptionally high when one considers the relative ease of the quest. Such a high mana bonus is, obviously, VERY appealing to any caster who has reached their WIS/INT cap.
First off I would like to say your post is very true, the 75 mana is a great feature to this ring. That being said I will disagree with you on one point, the Enduring breath is the main reason I would go after this item. This is a MUST HAVE for any cleric in the game. VI in there infinite stupidity left Cleric's with a horrible selection of Utility spells (i.e. Enduring breath, see invis, Levitate)and you have no idea how useful these spells are til you do not have access to them. So we clerics are forced to find items in the game that can correct this short-coming. Being the only wisdom Caster class ( Minus poor paladins, God Love there hearts), in the game without a form of Enduring breath this ring is perfect. Items with E.B. are some of the most useful items in the game, for the sheer number of quests and activities that take place in airless zones. For example, the Cleric epic, to get Lord Bergurgle to spawn you have to sit in the bottom of Lake Rathe Tear for hours and hours and hours and hours, and it is completely soloable for a cleric except for the Enduring breath problem. So in my opinion ( which is all that really matters since its my account LOL) this is a GREAT ITEM FOR CLERICS, for both the MANA and the EB.

I understand your point, but as a warrior forgive me if I have to shudder with rage when a caster complains that he doesn't have enough spells to chose from.
Bah, Vlarien hehe, you dont need no stinking EB:grin you are the awesome Warrior:) Just teasing, being a SK also as well as being a Magi (amongst all the other toons) I have to say this ring is definitly a must for anyone to be honest.
Hop over to the warrior boards, they talk about this there. He wasn't clear but what is being said is that 1ac = 10 - 15 hps saved up to the ac cap. Or basically you can take an extra 1000hp damage with 100ac that you couldn't before. So for a tank/hybrid this may not be the way to go depending on your role usually.
This is another of those nifty Luclin items. Not sure how hard it is to get since I haven't done the Grimling Raid yet but I am sure its prob on par with the dang Shissar earring from The Grey. I have been slaughtering snakes and golems in that zone for months and I haven't seen one earring drop yet. I would have thought it a myth if I hadn't seen a buddy of mine with one. Anyway, this ring is great for evil races since its not many of them who are able to do the EB Necklace quest in Katta ( other than evil monks and rogues of course ). Nice ring, guess I'll try out the G Raid and see how things go.
this is a very nice item, but I do preferr the shissar eye earring. I wear one and its awesome (ac5 hp/mana15) and has enduring breath as well... it's not a myth hehe it drops off one of the named guys near the entrance to Temple of Ssraezza, but it's very rare; my group saw 2 shissar breastplates before seein an earring. This is a pretty decent alternative though, it'd just be hard for me to justify giving up a 6/65 for one of these.... for a warrior at least.
evil races can do that quest in katta you just need a good ranger/druid to harmony the stupid punk and be invis...thats how i got the necklace for my iksar warrior

Permanent enduring breath too! Not sure if anyone is going to be going on Kedge raids after getting this, but it should make things a bit easier than using those heavy gnome breathing masks or relying on casters/bards.
