Stable Hand Kaye??
# May 21 2007 at 5:49 AM Rating: Decent
I went to the bazaar trying to buy one of these black chain bridle's. I cant seem to find who sells it. I went into the stables from the POK door, I made my first right turn you can make. There were 3 npcs that I saw in the stables and none of them had the bridle's for sale. Did they move this to another zone or something? Thanks

Thats not the stables anymore. Mostly tradeskill stations there. Check your map and you'll see a different room for stables now.

Some info on buying and selling a horse
# Apr 15 2004 at 3:53 PM Rating: Excellent
I am a Def Necro, and my Charisma is at 142. I didn't swap out gear for this to improve my stats =/

In the Bazaar, Stable Hand Kaye offers to sell Black Chain Bridles to me for 103949pp. Cons indifferent.

I enjoyed my horse for a long time but decided to try the Drogmor so I bought one of those. I tried it for a couple weeks and I liked it more so I sold the horse.

There are 4 brothers in the stables in the Bazaar who accept the Bridles. If you hail them they tell you which they accept.

Hiklo Amondson - Tan
Galic Amondson - White
Wendal Amondson - Black
Aldo Amondson - Brown

I gave my bridle to Wendal and recieved a "Huge Bag of Platinum". I was told that any merchant would cash it out for me.

I went to Halois Gueinds (Human - indifferent - bazaar) who offered me 73666p 7g for my Huge Bag of Platinum. I then went to ChonChon (Ogre - Amiable - Neriak Foreign Quarter) who offered me the same price. I then tried Felok N'Tan (Dark Elf - Amiable - Neriak Commons) who also offered me the same price.

I thought about trying to swap out more Charisma gear and going to Thurgadin where I am max ally but got bored and didn't care that much.

Hope it helps some.

Price for the black chain bridle on my chanter with 255 CHA was still 103949pp. So you had the best price already.
HORSES SUCK!!!
# Jan 19 2004 at 2:44 AM Rating: Default
Just so everyone knows ...... DONT EVER BUY A HORSE!!! Buy a Drogmor instead. The horses big fat head partially blocks your view and is a targetting nightmare. Drogmor heads dont block your view and are every bit as fast as horses. HORSES REALLY, REALLY SUCK!!!

Also if you invis yourself, or have someone invis you, then drop the invis right away, the horse's head will remain "invis" and won't be in your way. You will also be able to loot as if you were standing next to the corpse.

One thing to remember though, if you have see invis on, or SoE or any other buff that let's you see invis, it won't work. You will SEE the horse's head.

There's this crazy thing where you can change your view, this getting beyond that problem, and you can always target party members from the group window

If you hand the bridle in to Wendal Amondson he will give you the money back for an unwanted horse.

You just hand him the bridle and he will give you a Bag of Platinum. You can then sell the Bag of Platinum to any store. Haven't tried to see if you can get better prices at different vendors, but that may be a good way to get more for the horse.

This is the NPC that you turn in bridles to in order to get back your money for an unwanted horse.

You just hand him the bridle and he will give you a Bag of Platinum. You can then sell the Bag of Platinum to any store. Haven't tried to see if you can get better prices at different vendors, but that may be a good way to get more for the horse.
