Shadows of Luclin
This item is required for the quest "Lohie's Music Exhibit" listed above. The other items required are more or less garbage for bards to use but now have a use because of this quest. This item however is a very good drum and worth more than the end result of the quest, plus it is uncharacteristic of the other items required due to it's rarity and usefullness. Makes me think they are either gonna nerf this and make it a more common drop from general grimlings or change the quest to require a different item.
Anyone seen another similar named item that is a common drop?

I've tested and compared this drum to the MM drums using the Most of the "rythms" song line, "chant of battle", Jaxon's jig of vigor" etc.. and the "Selo's" song line also. All numbers (stat bonuses) were changed equally by both drums. As far as the speed goes, my system can be too laggy to time a run or anything .. but this also seemed equal to MM drums. The 3AC is a nice bonus, other than that there's NO difference.
This is better then MM drums BUT not by much......

I have this drum and I heard its 25 percent, either way i'm happy with it.

I got this one tonight and tested it with selos (lvl 35 bard) against my MM battle drums. I was noticeably faster with this drum than with MM, so it IS better. I will try it with something that yields figures next time.

"Grurn No Eyes" droped this drum for me, He is the named grimling that spawns inside the sonic cave when they are in control of it. I compared it to my walrus skin using fast feet and seemed to move slower with this drum.
How much would one of these sell for? i have one on the Bristlebane server.

I got one of these and my Bard bud tested it out and said it was the same bonus as MM drum, which is listed as 17 on here. So this drum is a little better since it also had 3ac.
Its around 15-20% which puts it right around a walrus drum.
Walrus skin drum's are 27% to bard songs.if this is 20% or less walrus alot better friend.

If anyone could get one of these drums to test with, you could simply fire up a good stat song (like Chant of Battle or Elemental Rhythms) and swap between a normal drum, this drum, and some other well-known magical drum.
Tomlin is right please post normal vs this drum with chant of battle. not the percent the numbers with your lvl please.
It's a Drum with AC... that means it's better than a standard Drum.
