Can anyone point us to a patch or Dev message saying this item has been removed from game?

I've camped Gruplinort and the Drill Master for over three weeks now, everything but the Warhammer has dropped.

There are a few posts in the Drill Master Dih'roul and Gruplinort entries about this item, but no real solid confirmation it did in fact drop from both NPC back in the day... so verification of ancient history would be nice too.

We could use a modern item window pic of this item.

A shot of someone wielding it would be great too.

Confirmed on Aradune, Kunark era. It was given to me by a guildmate so I'm not sure who dropped it, but I can confirm it exists. Also adding images requested.

2 Stun Proccing Weapons...
# Apr 24 2003 at 12:55 PM Rating: Decent
I recently aqquired a Pebble crusher to accompany this weapon which I lovingly Hold in my primary. The taunt generated by the proc is great for holding aggro, and the stun is amazing for reducing the damage my war takes. This combination is amazing if your a warrior. Can't wait to team up with someone else who wields this combination, say a prayer for the mobs we run across...

Awsome for Monk Shammand duo

The stun save HP and the ratio is good I would have it for Monk Shaman Duo give high Dex hehe

Look up Baton of Royal Stature and Adamantite Club, 11 22 and 15 25 respectively and both proc stunning blow (6.0 seconds)....much better than this

Our main tank (a Ranger) now always uses this as his primary weapon. With his Sash of the Dragonborn, it is almost impossible for him to lose aggro. His Venomous Axe of the Velium Brood also helps... but proccing a stun every 20 seconds guarantees that your healer and your nuker will be safe. We roll with dual Wizards at all times. This weapon is VERY useful.

I get a kick out of the peeps....young player under lvl 50 that don't know what they are talking about. Well a Ranger in low gear and doesn't know what they are can't tank.
BUT..I am a 62 Ranger with 1120 AC self buffed. I tank in PoN and PoD all the time. With AA's I have been able to lower the amount of hits I take and the amount of damage I take when hit. With Swiftwind and Tox Axe I can get and hold aggro and warriors have a hard time getting aggro from me when I want to take it. With hit agi and dex I have to get about one more CH then some other tank I have grouped with. A good Ranger can be a great tank IMHO. Well in closing please don't flame where you don't know what you are talking about.

Now BST useable

I picked up one of these last night for 6k for my 55BST.

With my SCHW on and a Guard Captain's Mallet in secondary, I cast DEX on myself and went hard... The result was quite astonishing. With 3 tanks (me, monk and war) + my lvl 41 pet with 66% hasted, the Stun Proc was much more effective then say a weapon with 125dd proc or the such.

The stun proc was barely ever resisted and held the already slowed mob from hitting or casting for 4 seconds every time, which turned out to average 3 times a mob (i did a 6 or 7 in a row chain proc session once or twice). That equates to 12seconds of a mob being easily pounded by 3 tanks and a pet (you notice how much more damage you take if a mob stuns you?).

Quite a dominating effect if you ask me considering both monk and war are duel wield double attacking with dd procs and my pet and me doin the same. The group I was with was spell bound to see a BST stunning so much and I was being inspected and asked to show my weapons in trade a lot.

BTW: BST is not in the class list on this site but let me asure you that BST can use this. And with great success. This certainly re-asserted my BST as one of the most valuable hard dudes in the group.
Rogue use

Recently picked one up to try out. Not a bad weapon for a rogue, as well, although it is limited to Offhand use.

Ratio isn't bad, and the proc makes for some useful tactics if you solo / duo. When it stuns, I turn around the mob and backstab it. It's also a handy proc when in large groups, and I don't have a taunting problem with it at all (have used it in Sebilis king camp). Only occasionally did I find myself evading after the process, which is no big deal.

Good for any compatible class, but it adds that little "backstab" option in special grouping times where you don't usually find yourself backstabbing, other then when the mob is fleeing, of course.

Proc Stun Weapon

I have 2 gnoll hide lariats just for instances of stun fun. If I am in a group where we need to keep something stunned and we have a Shaman I get a DEX and STR buff and then HASTE buff and off I go. With a god DEX I can proc 10 times a battle with them.

The damage output sucks, but as a ranger any stun is nice to have. Together with my Call of Air spell I can usually keep a MOB out of commision, or at least unable to cast.

So - yes, a duel wield stun setup does work, though not as well as many would hope.

I will say whipping a thing to death with HASTE on is funny as heck

Anyone ever try getting a bunch of stun proc weapons (cheapie gnoll hide lariats?) and giving them to every tank in the group to dual wield?

Could be interesting if the duration is decent (if this is the same as low level cleric stun it's not bad)

Caster killers?

depending on how often these proced...if this were main and another weapon with a similar ability to stun were used....low delay, would truely suck to be the caster on the end of that.
