Gratz on making these Xandros. What level of smithing skill did you have when you made these, and did you have the geerlok device equipped. Also, How many tries did it take?

For any non-smiths, The Enchanted Full plate is the hardest of the Human Cultural Smithing. There are 4 types, depending on the metals used, and gold is the second harderst to work. It also has the best stats for Clerics.

Thanks,

when I made the combines for the Greaves I had a smithing skill of 200 and a geerlok smithing device equipped (+5% to smithing).
I made a total of 5 combines on the Greaves (3x silver, 2x gold) and was succesful in 1x silver and 1x gold out of these 5 attempts.

Having a geerlok device eqipped makes a HUGE difference in the success rate especially when your skill is not maxed out.
I wasnt nearly as successful in earlier combines without a smithing device.

About to try a pair of these (plat, not gold)with the new trivials, and a skill of 199 and a geerlok. If my experience with imbued field plate post-trival adjustment stands (10/11) I hope to get them on the first try, then make a BP with the backup materials. As soon as I can tie up our guild chanter, and get him to enchant 20 large bricks of hq ore :) and some plat. Actually, I'll probably get him to enchant a few spares, because I am having more failures on intermediate combines than final, since the trivial patch.
