There is a new set of NPCs in grimeling forrest just before the hollowshade moor zone, one gives you a six slot box asking for samples, I wonder if this is used for it

I have been looting a ton of these and selling them to vendors for a nice piece of change. However, I was in the bazaar and noticed they came up on a search I was doing. The puzzle is; I was searching for "combinable" acrylia. I was expecting small bricks and pieces to show up on the list. These also showed up! So.... Does anyone know of a recipe that uses these? Can they by chance be combined into Acrylia pieces and bricks and blocks? I am going to experiment a bit!
I went a litte further and checked all the classes for combinable and acrylia, and the etched runes did not show. Yet they do show up on a search for combinable acrylia, like Aralene said, with the crushed jems which are not combinable in containers but are quest itmes. So it is still possible that these items are used in a quest on luclin that no one has figured out yet.
