Given the scarcity of wisdom items for the feet(ones that dont require you to fight your way into solb or some other nasty place), I'd say these are quality footwear for a newbie cleric....beats hell out of patchwork or nothing at all anyway...which is technically what you should be in at that level, at least it is if you are only wearing what you can acquire on your own.
