Can you amagin if it were for a new epic quest? emagine what the outcome sword would be... it would be better, i think i know why they didnt make this useable, just like the wizards they were to powerfull for themselves, HAHA me a warrior with this and a deadwood stave, or an acrylia rapier would be unstopable, especialy now since my resists are already like 70+, who could cast on me? but the epic would be downgraded, only because the lord guy proly has like only 200hp with a 4000 regeneration per tick LOL i dont know but this sword is nice, if only you could use it...... vernat should make this be part of an epic and this is my ideal perfect sword...... 50/20 +100str +100sta +100dex +200cha +200 all resists effect: Trucidation races:all Class:warrior

Because with 50/20 that would proc like every 10 seconds of cors not lore or just primary!!

Holy **** your right!!!!! GOOD idea, if it works, i doubt it, and you need 60 to get it LMAO who needs a pet that can hit for 500+ with it?
So whats the plan on killing this guy? Anyone know? If so plz post it.

Perhaps this sword is part of the upgraded Paladin / Shadowknight epics. We have all heard rumors about VI upgrading the epics, perhaps this is part of it and the quest is as yet, not in the game.

okay, verant makes the sword. I've read about it. Here s my theory.
One time, an uber guild (probably FoH or Afterlife) were trying to kill this one mob I think in VP or somewhere. Anyway, everytime they got close to killing it, the server "mysteriously" needed to be patched and they got kicked off. It turns out that Verant got tired of doing this and made the uber sword that mob dropped NO RENT. Can't remember the stats.
I also remember hearing that the designer wanted the sword to be equipable. It may very well have been equipable by pc's the day luclin came out. Not sure however.
At anyrate, if there is a weapon that a pc could kill the sleeper with, its this one. 75 damgage, 45 delay is good enough. But by doubling your 1hs skill and stats and saves and mana and Ac, you'd be soloing whites at lvl 60.
Also, in terms of swords and npc mobs: Someone said that they probably gave this sword to inquisitor so he'd have resists better. The sword really IS just for the NPC however, as it is BANE: HUMANOID. ALL pc races are humanoid.

I think just Human, Erudite, and Barbarian is called Humanoid.

Humanoid = Human like characteristics = almost everything except animals birds fish and plants and a few others that i cant think of
I would honestly give this to an epic mage pet and haste the living hell out of it, cast every buff i could on it and go kill the biggest badest human creature out there. Hmm No humanoids come to mind atm that would be worth it. only dragons
Not to mention showing off the WAY cool look of an epic pet with this =)
Could probably get it back at end of night too. Just duel, have them charm pet. Then pet is an NPC, so kill the pet, loot the sword

Sleeper cannot be killed. The end. Period. He is invincible. No way to kill him. Have I gotten the point across yet? The GM's chain DT'd him at the fanfaire and it didn't scratch his health. But the pet idea is great =P
Why would Verant put any stat on this piece of trash if it is not useable. Someone at Verant was into the funny mushroom patch again.

anyone ever read the Sword of Truth novels by Terry Goodkind? In those books, only the Seeker of Truth could wield the Sword of Truth....planes of power anyone? ;)
