A Shai'din Nightfear. Seems like it can pop on any sarnak. It makes it much easier to find if you look for the sarnak with a equipped shield as it does show. Great twink shield :)
Edit: I was in plain ol Chardok. Don't know about Chardok B

Über Cleric
# Aug 20 2004 at 10:58 AM Rating: Decent
Hehe, I feel so special. A few buddies of mine pimped me out when I started my Cleric. Since this was affordable and had no lvl req's I got it. I am only 26 now, and have had it for as long as I have been playing. lol...

These go for at least 4.5-5k. But then, everything on SZ is much more expensive than on other servers, with the exception of weight-reducing bags, which seem to be about the same price everywhere.

Regardless of the server, this makes for excellent twinkage.

#REDACTED, Posted: Apr 12 2003 at 9:23 AM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) This shield seems good for classes that have a low strength like half-elves

This shield is quite good for an SK. My Gnome SK just recently got one and it's much better than his Chetari Bonecrafted Shield ( better in the back slot anyway. ) I usually pair this with my MoSS and do quite a bit of damage. That's my 2cp on the subject. Peace.

The suggested price of 7k listed here on the pic
is way outdated. I haveen't seen this sold for more than 2 k in over a month, on 3 diff servers. If
anyone is paying more than 2 k for it your getting ripped off --it's become way to common. Just look
around and see how many players have it equipped
A Great Shield
# May 07 2002 at 1:31 AM Rating: Decent
A wonderful Upgrade to Charred Guardian Shield that Ive been caring since I was level 20 lol. The AC and the Resists rock, and its light weight. Above all that its got a str bonus and for us High Elf Clerics that comes in REAL HANDY!!!

RE: A Great Shield
# Jun 27 2002 at 11:48 AM Rating: Decent
I must agree with using this shield to upgrade. I personally went from the Charred guardian to a Crystal Chitin. I hated having to get rid of the +9 Wisdom, but now that I'm attending raids I need the resists and AC more. Great shield, and since I'm fashion conscious, it looks great with the surveyor's rod I have in primary.

bah to noobs
# Apr 28 2002 at 4:44 PM Rating: Default
To all the noobs who think all druids that use this are stupid, you simply don't know what you are talking about. Not only is this shield good, it is great! The reason it is so good is because of its usefullness to more then one class. It is good for druids (who wouldn't want AC and resist past 50?) and also non dual-weidling hybrids (shadowknights and pallies) that happen to use a 1h weapon. Also, it is good for bards with high-end instruments that can be used in primary if they are instrument fighting. This would be great for my bard when pulling, using drums of the beast or lute of the howler in combat, on a raid and not meleeing, or charm/swarm kiting. This is a relatively common, sweet-looking, low weight, amazing shield. Bah to noobs who say otherwise
RE: bah to noobs
# Jul 05 2002 at 10:45 AM Rating: Decent
To the bards part, Most would just stand there going hand to hand. To get your other instruments out to properly instrument fight, You need to get the shield out to use the non-1hand instruments :)

i'm pretty sure it's all/all now.. not 100% on that tho.. if not then there IS a lookalike out there, cuz i've seen just about every class in the game with one.. it's what all those fashion concious high levels wear when going to your local server auction zone to buy/sell.

Just looked at the ones for sale in the Bazaar and no, they are not all/all. The posted classes are still correct. Not sure how a Wizard is holding it in the SS, unless that's not really our epic. Only the gods know for sure.

There is a Int-caster shield that looks exactly like this, sorta like the Ry`Gorr Oracle's Shield looks like an ORS even though it has a horn (The ROS, that is)

Just curious, having read through the comments/arguments below, and I am now curious, since they changed the way mana is calculated over 200 now, ..... what is everyone's take on this now?

I have a while before my Druid gets up this high, but want to know what direction to plan for. My guess is that resists are still important, but since the change, has it made WIS more important?

Appreciate any and all insights and comments, and will cheerfully ignore useless flames.

Post changes in Chardok the Shield does not drop more, its just that the zone attracted alot more of ppl after the change. The shield is still rare as hell, I been there for a week now & I have yet to see one drop (not continuously of course). Lotsa other phat loot drop there too though.

Since Chardok changed, these things have been dropping like crazy I hear. Wouldn't know though, being only 48 =/ but they're hella common in EC and the price is dropping fast.

Just got one
# Nov 13 2001 at 10:28 AM Rating: Default
I just got one of these last night...I had to strip my Bard to do so..I traded all her visable armour(full Lambent, SS Gauntlets and SS Boots)for this shield for Eberk..Since I am going to be on Eberk full time I can always get Haarmony more armour..Her armour was worth about 6k and I see this shield being sold in EC for up to 10k so I guess it was a nice deal..notice a difference since I got the shield...cause when I agro,I mean heal :o) the extra ac and hp comes in handy..well good hunting and safe journey to all.
