Went to PoH, trying to help a friend get her epic drop...I played cleric, she played ranger, and another friend played his necro. we stayed in PoH for at least 5-6 hrs, maybe more...2 shields dropped, I kept one...Been on too many raids lately where my 'decent saves' just werent cutting it. you gotta have the saves to raid. you could go for the wis on a diff shield, but i find that i blow most of my 4055pt mana pool on group heals then go oom because im trying to keep Someone alive to see the end.....Raid mobs are wicked on dots, and these dots arent your CB orc oracle dots...Think more of LDoN and DONT touch the box!!
Very nice shield to have..I wouldnt give up my Shield Of Battle for it..But what I would do is carry both..In instances that I need the 9 wis I would have my Shield of Battle and then when I needed resist I would equip this Shield..Not worried about the weight cause i have over 120 str(Being a Dwarf I started with 100str)..Either way its a nice shield to have..Hope one drops on my next PoH raid..well good hunting and safe journey to you all.
Went on a plane raid, this is all what droped, 3 rotted as all the clerics in the raid had one (. Nice AC on it for all the resists.

This drops from a cleric of inny, 2 drops during our trip and it was the 1st floor.

... mobs have been seen to drop this? What floor? Ive made 3 trips to Hate so far and not seen one drop as of yet.
This shield dropped off of a 1st floor Cleric of Innoruk last night on the Saryrn server.

Nah. you need the resist much more than the wisdom in certains situations. a little extra mana doesn't do you any good if you are dead from dragon aoe for an example.

Good AC and very nice resists, but NO wis... I'm at WIS=201, and 9 of that is from my charred guardian shield. Have to wait until I get an item with a huge amount of wis before I can make good use of it. Interesting graphic - doesn't show a shield at all, just a pulsating area of light on the arm.
