I'm a lvl 10 Necro on RZ. Yes, it attainable at low lvls. Yes, it is a Magic Item so you can hit Wisps and such with it. Yes, it has a good dmg to delay ratio for a 1hb that a caster can use. Yes, when you hit lvl 28 the proc will help in fear kiting and pet rescues. But... ALL YOU PEOPLE FORGET ONE THING ---- IT LOOKS COOL AS @#$%! The appearence of this staff makes newbies look at me in awe! Its wonderful! It's like a secpter of darkness! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT! I LOVE IT!

What is the point of having a weapon in-game that procs at 28th level but cant be acquired til 37th?

I used to use one when I was in my teen levels. Now at 45, I picked one up again. I LOVE using it! I put up Grim Aura, Banshee Aura, and Vampiric Embrace, then Darkness on a mob, and pull it to my pet. Then I fear the poor sap, and join in the bashing! Great way to get 1H Blunt up safely. Being a caster, mine is pretty bad =P. But, I have lots of fun along side my pet!

Yeah i do the same thing to keep my 1HB up there abit also in group i will occasionally jump in and give a bash or two with my staff to allow the healer an extra couple secs to get a heal off on the tank cause with all my dots going on the mob if i get in melee range he will generally take a few swings at me. And with this staff i could actually do some damage.
