the 15 WIS is crazyand the see invis is a ok bonus but do people really require it. the main people who will buy this will be priests and casters which get see invis anyway. so why not save that 15k and get something which has around 10 WIS and has some HP

Cleric's don't naturally get see invis so this is a pretty nice mask if you prefer oldschool items.

I acquired one of these the other day, and I have to say it is quite the decision whether or not I want to equip it or sell it. I would have to say that 17k is a little ridiculous but on my server I wouldn't be surprised.

It's worth 15k for sure this is the highest wiz item a druid can get that's not no drop for the face slot. I picked mine up for 5500 and was damn glad to have it. Plus the see invis is sweet too. Helps me find lost group members who have been camoed when we are running through a zone.
I can't imagine there are many +15 int face items a magician can wear. Now add "see invisible" to that? At higher levels I'm finding that I use my air pet almost exclusively. The only drawback is having to repeatedly cast see invisible on myself. This would be the perfect solution.

I picked this up with my lvl 5 bard last night in the Fennin Ro bazzar for 1 (ONE) plat off a trader. I had no use for the int/wis bonus, but figured the see invis might come in handy. Had no idea it was worth this much...now the hard part is to decide to sell it for a HUGE profit, or give it to one of my other characters...decisions, decisions

ans as for duelling without spells ur obviously either lying or dueling warriors who have less than quarter of ur lvls!

it involves taking hits which u obvously cant do as well as a warrior. sure u may be able to deal lots of dmg but thats not tanking is it? also id be willling to bet you havent dueled a mellee who has real good resists cause then you would likely get a shock when ur snare resists and ur root doesnt land and ur nukes suck while the mellee gets up close and pounds ur robed ***!

I got an eyepatch last night on a Talendor raid! We dropped him with 2 groups but, I would say possible with one group 58+. I could be wrong? Watch out for the AoE DD and DoT.

See Invis is useful on PVP servers, no? and frankly, i wouldn't mind having that effect without the need to memmorize and cast the spell. i'd wager that it's the +15 wis and int makes this desirable. the effect is more or less a bonus.

this is something i cant fully appreciate as a 41bst i get see invis but also have bracer of the hidden with right click see invis, something i found while going through lake of el gimpo, but they currently sell for over 2.5k on veeshan.
i understand the practical use on PvP servers but im not in many zones with invis mobs. could someone please enlighten me on the other practicalities of the effect?

I think what the original poster intended to mean was that on a PvP server, you would have a slight edge over someone without it in that you could see if another player killer was laying in wait with invis on for someone to step into his trap.
I openly admit to never playing on a PvP server. That being said, while I see the value of being able to see a sneak attack before it happens, I would be majorly upset to find an item of this caliber looted from my corpse if I lost the round, being that it ISN'T no drop.
Just my thoughts.

Just in response to the average price listed for this item, I think it is a bit overvalued. Two merchants in the Bazaar on Xegony (obviously competing against each other) sold theirs for 13kpp each. Unless one is on a server with a totally different economy, anyone paying over 15k (17k TOPS) for this item has more plat then sense.

Add to if that I can use it, I'm a lvl 49 Cleric. But I kinda wish I couldn't use it lol. The 30k I could get from it would be nice :)

Talendor was dropped by our guild tonight and this item dropped along with some spells and other loot table items.
I was merited it. It replaced my plat ruby veil.
Now just need to get ahold of the bp off Trak <Grin>
