Rain of Fear
Had been running around the zone doing all the Collects for several hours and managed to get all of them except for this one. Kept at it and was beginning to get a little frustrated and then took a look at this page and read the Lore for the item. A bell dinged, a light went on, I had a eureka! moment. All around outside the tree there are a bunch or L50 baby evil eyes called "a gibbering breeder offspring". I thought hmmmmm.... what happens if I kill these? So I killed 6 or 7 and lo and behold I picked up THREE, count 'em 3 of the damned Dripping Eye's in the next 8 - 10 minutes. All appeared in the trenches. Someone has a sense of humor.
So I tried this, killed over 30 eyes and nothing. Picked up several of the other collect items (of this group) as ground spawns in the large cracks on the ground level. Gave up and went up the tree and killed Alaran's for the "Remnants of a Lost Life" collection.
I ran across a second set of spawns for this collection. It was all the way up (from +229, -8, +433) to the ants and found my Dripping Eye at +131, +82, +776. Was next to an ant and one of those larva things. (looked like a sleeping bag!)

I know you believe you understand what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you thought you heard was not what I meant.

Collections in a zone are usually placed in static locations. And what collection piece spawns there is usually random if there are a bunch of collection pieces that spawn in that particular zone. So you can figure out where all the spawn points are at in a zone and then check each location.
