What about everyone able to Canni now?

Seems every class has a Canni now (except bards and warriors), clerics can even give mana to others. I'm just a poor outdated shammy.

I tested this in Shard's Landing and confirmed that it is a true FD effect. I aggroed a mob that conned threatening before starting combat with it, then used the Planar Overdose. The mob stopped attacking me and conned indifferent.

Note1: before current FD classes get upset by this, consider the limitations on this effect. 1 second cast time, 3 minute recast, currently unkown chance to get "playername fell down" result, and non-FD classes don't get any AA to remain feigned when hit by detrimental spell effect. The failure chances together with the long re-use means it will be 2nd or 3rd or 4th choice for getting out of a bad situation. It will be more useful for going afk in some place that is almost but not 100% safe.

Note2: this is unlike the fake FD effect on the Interplanar Brain Blaster which caused you to fall down and look like you were FD (and made you drunk as well) but which did not stop mobs from attacking you.

Right. Don't get upset FD classes..especially monks. We get two specialities. Pulling and FD. SOE already farmed FD out to SK's and Necs. Now they want to farm it out to all classes. And no other class can pull of course, cause I never see any group without a monk to pull. (That is sarcasm in case you didn't get it.) But hey, we monks get to wear leather to keep that parity up with the tanks in plate that can now buy FD potions. Sorry I put a lot of time and AA's into a monk and right now am seeing that the troll spamming "what good are monks" is now right. SOE why don't you just nerf us totally and make us have to play another class. You are doing it anyway. How about a Headshot Pot like someone joked about in general? Constantly seeing rangers selling PL services with that. That might be a good thing for all the other classes to have so we can make some plat PL'ing too. How about giving us a real pet that can continue attacking while we kite? Oh wait, melee can't kite. But druids in leather get pets, and roots to kite. How's that work? Or how bout letting our special kicks actually take effect more then half the time. The stunning kick doesn't work on many mobs, higher, lower or even con. Do necros dots not work like that too? Cause we all know necros can't solo. ( again sarcasm) So give us ineffective skills and farm out our specialties. At least plated tanks can take hits long enough for their mercs to cast heals. So how bout giving monks better armor at least? Or just get it over with and banish us like you want instead of the slow nerfing death you are doing now. Cause SOE, you are the one mob we can't fd and lose aggro on.

Actually with a Rogue merc my Warrior can kite very well at lvl 51. Should work at higher levels too if mobs don't summon.

Don't forget that Beastlords can now AA FD, wouldn't want you to leave them out of your whining/ranting. This is a research and guide site, not a Dev site. Go whine on the EQ boards like everyone else.

Check the ingredients required to do this drink. How many times a night would you use this for pulling?

I feel your pain but druids don't get a pet that's worth anything. Sure, they can charm animals but using a charmed pet for kiting is always an adventure in the vagaries of the RNG! I can't argue, though, that monks do have some legit gripes about what's been done to their class.
