Magelo shows drop rates as good as 1/7 for this but this appears to be from level 97-98 "named" giants, such as Watchman Djobren, none of which are shown as sources here. They really aren't "nameds" per se, since a lot of Kael NPCs have names even if they don't have special stats or abilities. I've needed this collectible to finish the achievement for weeks now and on the rare occasion it's offered for sale on my server it's always an inflated price, IMO. Guess I better go pharming!

Data elsewhere shows this can drop from pretty much any giant or coldain; it looks like probably a 1% chance. I spent a couple months in the zone off and on, including helping a guildmate through the quests, and finally had it drop from a coldain that I had decided would be my 3rd-to-last kill of the night. (I went ahead and killed the other two but curly-mustachioed lightning did not strike twice.)
Looking back through my logs, I had killed 198 giants/coldain who dropped a total of 23 bits for this collection, including the final mustache.

Dropped off an Umbral Coldain for me today, I sat at the bridge area for probably 7 hours before it dropped...
What area/type of mobs does this drop from? I have killed all over the zone and no luck. I see folks in /baz that have several for sale per day. I just want it to finish up the task =)
I looted it from a Coldain under the bridge to the King's area.
