This and the shiel make great 'freebie' twink toys for people who do this camp, and have melee alts that can use them.
If nothing else these make good booby prizes if you loose the rolls for the rings.

Got this in a trade, a sentry bracer (that i picked up for 200pp) for this and an argent defender, sold the defender, still using this in my offhand with a green jade broadsword in my primary hand, nice combo i think =P and it is just a fraction less in dmg per dly ratio but it's so small it doesn't even matter IMHO

still drops. comes off a lvl 60 named iksar that also drops shield of the arisen cultist (ac15 hp15 sv magic/fire5 secondary/back worn shield)... he hits very hard, and has insane MR. Tough to get.

Killed a level 60 named Arisen Cultist SK in TT and he dropped it.
Gave it to my bard twink as is a wierd unique graphic -- all kinds of hooks an blades springing off of it.

Slightly worse ratio than centi SS, but speed makes it better for main hand. I'd even prefer it for offhand, because the difference in ratio is so minor that I'd rather save the 3.0wt or whatever.
My guess is this drops off a new mob in TT. TT was brought down for a patch a while back. Probably related to a quest.

Well I'm seeing that it's weight is 2.5 less,so I would thing it is alot better than the Centi Shortsword....I currently use a lammy/Gjb combo on my ranger and the fact that the weight combined is only 1.8,makes a big diff to me in my stamina...So I'm thinking that it is better than a Centi SS...And I guess that the name is kinda cool too :)
If by equal you mean strictly better than yeah. Very Good but not great weapon, just like the Centi SS
