one of the best items for necro? this is crap for a necro..10hp is nothing... its just a glorified runed cowl. Spend 2-5k and get a brand new thurg crown, youll be glad you did.
And yes, wis items on a int caster item *is* just to fill out the item and make it look uber... and to say to paladins "I have more wis than you >.<"

well the reason for the wis is that wisdom helps increase the rate at which you learn and max your skills, id much rather have the blighted from fear, but on 17 fear raids, it hasnt dropped, so id be happy with this

Well Catchisif, the only way you would be right in your statement, is if an idiot was playing this pure INT caster and is collecting all wis items. Which would give this bozo a higher wis then int stat. INT and WIS do the SAME thing, the higher one of the stats is the one that matters, eq ignores the other one for Caster skill increases and chance of learning and such.

What is the point of having 8 wisdom on this item when only pure casters can use? I know some people are going to disagree but i just think the casters could have used other stats then the wisdom. Just my thought

This is one of the best necro head items out there, short of uber stuff.
Check out the blighted skullcap from the Plane of Fear. Kicks this thing in the junk just for the 10 MR.
