The One Key  

 

So I did like many others and wasted a bit of time looking for this loc and believing my time was off I ran around and killed a few scorpikis that were wondering around. Read a few more post on the loc and found that The One Key is NOT on the ground. It's on the tall standing island across from the second arch. If your an enchanter and did the epic quest in order than you have ran past this tall island going to hail Modani. Loc of the key (small bag) is -190 -385 -203 you will need some form of levitate to reach the island.

On Agnarr, the respawn time is usually within five minutes of 19 and a half hours.

Found the key at location -197, -379, -205

To insert the map pointed that Maktub posted,

first patch, let the patcher finish, then insert

P 374.8957, 186.0782, -201.7684, 240, 0, 0, 2, The_One_Key

into the end of the ot.txt file located ( Most likely) in C:\Program Files\Sony\Everquest\maps\

then continue and login normally, the point should be on your map in OT. The changes will only last till the next time you run the patcher. Map points and lines are loaded at account log in.

Maktub had good intention with his post on adding the link to the OT.txt file but only 1 problem. Everytime I add this Loc into the file EQ patches over it and it is no longer in the file and does not show up on the map.

In another post the spawn time for this peice is supposed to be around 24 hours. If its not there when U get there. If I found the correct spot it was not up for me. I will post again once I find it there. =(

Update: I have been coming to the spot everyone keeps talking about for this drop on and off the last 3 days can anyone confirm this is still spawning or possibly might be broken as I have not seen sight of it?

OK facing NW down the canyon while standing between the two named skopiki's. You will see directly in the middle a short pillar that is the one with the key. Nevermind trying to use that evil /loc thing. So dude but my directions much more simple :p

I went to the west side at -500 by -190. saw the 2 landings. I simply leved over to the 2nd smaller one and it was in the middle of it. I had to force my self to drop to it even. no risk involved at all. the loc for the 2nd smaller is right exact.

A ledge is a landing, extension, or part of a rock formation, usually on the side of a cliff. This key is on one of the "rock islands" in the middle of the canyon. To get to it you must run and jump and look up with Levitation and float to the smaller of the 2 islands. You start your run from loc (neg 296, pos 151). When you run toward the canyon or off the cliff, use the larger of the 2 islands as your target since you will not see the smaller one until you start to descent. When you run, you will actually be running on a true ledge and then turn right before the edge and leap due east, remembering to look up as you leave the ledge for a few seconds. This info should take at least 45-60 minutes off your search time. A ledge, give me a break. Uh don't forget to cast Levitation, Illusion imp, air etc or that last sound you hear will be splat!
