This weapon will hit all Owlbears. Apparently, Bane damage works as a selective Magice attribute. No other magic only critters can be hit by this, but it'll work fine against Owlbears :)
all i have to say is that this item sux for all the crap you have to go through to get it. i did the hollow shade war last night in favor of the grimlings and the prince that spawned as a result of their winning dropped this. well lets just say the prince and all his many fast spawning guards are not easy and that him dropping this is just plain cheesy

Anyone else think it a bit odd that it has bane damage but isn't magical? Maybe they just didn't put it in the tag.
