Several posters reported that this mob spawned in the northwest corner of the 4c area. I camped that spot for several days to no avail. I decided to try the northeast corner, and within 2 mobs the ritualist popped. Took me two spawns to get the mask, but if you are looking for the mask, try the northeast corner.
Updates: Yes this still drops as of 6/29/08 off a brown ritualist in the 4 corners area. Yes this is clickable from inventory, clickable by any class (worked for me as a ranger) and targetable.
Works from inventory (not in a bag of course) as a chanter on Xegony server as of 11/21/04, I REPEAT YOU DO NOT NEED TO EQUIP THIS TO USE THE INVIS, have not tried cross class.
this mask dropped in 4c off named mob, as you enter 4c and go left, its not the first pillar but the second pillar that spawns the named mob, or chanter got mask during our last CT raid.
"The mob is a named roamer in the tunnel between the green pool and the blue pool, Dropped last night."
You are thinking of "an ooze covered ritualist", which is a different mob entirely, who does indeed spawns between the two pools and wander.
I'm reading conflicting information as to whether this mask drops off "a Thul Tae Ew ritualist" on floor by the archon temple (one of the northern corners), or whether it drops off "a Thulian High Ritualist" on the top of the archon temple. I suspect the former.

why not cleric usable, it would be of mor euse to them than any of the other classes since clerics NEVER get invis(not including invis vs. undead) somethings i will never understand.....
Clerics can use invis potions, they're not too expensive. Generaly the only class that actually gets effects on items that they wouldn't normally get are wariors, so it's not really any big deal.
You actually answer your own question. Verant for over 2 years has explained why they didn't give clerics invis, and never will, regaudless of how many people think their arguement is less than logical.
All the classes that can use this, already have invis spell.. so there is little to no balance problems.
you say that these are now drop so... i have a 40 dru with some money on him not saying hat im trying to buy this now but i would like to get a normal price so i can save up some porting money
I would definately be interested in purchasing this. If anyone has one on the Torv server and it is NOT no drop please send Taldaas a tell with a price.
i actually like this effect, i have beguilers slippers for my chanter when he solos.. mainly is when i charm fight, i have to invis to force break my charm to kill my pet, works great cuz i get tons of xp for it, 50% from my pets kill, and full xp for killing my pet = great xp... that is 150% xp from this, and assumin that charm doesnt break early, i will only use about 20m for this. which i get back while medding during the fight, and nuking to kill 10% health as opposed to full health really helps.. i actually might get this for the int, hp and mana... anyways just my 2cp worth on the effect... it frees up a slot so i can have gate up in case things get really bad...
That has to be about the stupidest thing I have ever read.
If you think casting invis on yourself (or anyone else) makes you evade like a rogue or ANYTHING similar, you are terribly mistaken.
The only thing it will do is knock you out of other people’s target (hello cleric) that do not have see-invis resulting in your death if the tank cannot regain agro fast enough.
Combat Invis = Absolutely nothing. Invis'ing while fighting does nothing, races that can Hide do not get the ability to Evade either. No one but rogues can Evade. Get it? =)

Once your charmed pet kills the target, you have to break the charm so you can attck the now wounded creature. Having a click invis saves mana and a spell slot that you'd have to allocate to having the spell up.
When a effect it combat that means that it procs then u are attacking... but u don't attack with a mask.. wonder how this one works.. might be a mistake
