Ruins of Kunark
Not flagged as a quest item as of October 2016 (following the big patch to 6000 items getting that tag added) which casts doubt on this being used in the quest: Nalla's Problem: A Grahzkel Orc Ambush, which appears unsolved (and flagged as Underfoot era...?).
Need confirmation that this piece only drops off the Froglok Ostiary.

My level 11 Rogue picked this up from a merchant for 70pp. It did leave me with about 1pp in my bank account though :)
I like the stats on this piece. However, I think that a Tattered Mantle (ac12 +10sv dis +20hp) or Engraved Bone Pauldrons (ac12 +5agi +3dex -20cha) are better for tanking types solely on merits of AC, which will do a heck of a lot more for you than +4sta and +4str. Just my opinion though.
Also, Engraved Bone Pauldrons are ALL ALL, which many people seem to overlook, as this makes them VERY good for pure casters (except chanters, hehe).

this armor seems to drop off all named frogs in sebilis as common drop, every piece can be found
