broken grahic?
# Aug 13 2002 at 1:29 AM Rating: Decent
I just bought these pants and they are great but the graphic is bad, naked red legs, being a troll it looks pretty bad, other people have said it is going to be fixed. Is that true, or are they supposed to look like that?

I just got these, on a dark elf they make my legs look black, and if u look really really close there are some red highlights, the color is similar to blood ember bracers. The dark elf nekkid legs are dark green though, this could just be the red color over the green pants making it so dark, who knows

Got these on Zeb for 3k, saw them last night for 15k. Since I have Cobalt Greeves these Ooze Greeves go into my resist bag. Really couldnt ask for more for resists pants (maybe some sta and hp). Very nice pants indeed.

Great Leggings
# Jul 01 2002 at 10:55 PM Rating: Decent
I traded a LSOEE I had that I was not usin for a pair of these leggings to match the Heavy Rubi BP I aquired a week earlier. Just curious as to how common these are. Very little has been posted on em in the last few months. If anyone hunts CT regularly let me know in post here. I'm on a PVP server and thois zone is darky controlled so it's hard to get a prolonged effort in the area before calls go out to eradicate us lighties. Gotta love PVP servers!!!!
Not lore droppable?

Wow this is going to go down in EQ history as one of the most high end farmed items in the game heh.
Its is kinda odd that it does not mention if its magic lore or no drop...
a random thought

what happenes if you jump in the river in the feerot, and the ooze gets washed off? seems a dicey proposition to me;either way, if i ever get these i'll be avoiding water in all it's forms.
"you look thirsty sir! care for a flask of water?"
"aaaagh! water! no bad! i'll take an ale though"

RE: Not Magic?
# Mar 15 2002 at 12:21 PM Rating: Default
The Magic Item tag only does anything if it is a weapon, so AC is AC, period.
RE: Not Magic?
# May 19 2002 at 2:01 AM Rating: Decent
The Magic Item tag also determines whether or not a rogue can pickpocket the item. In this case, a rogue could if the mob was at least 5 levels below them (Starting at 51, otherwise the cap is 45), and knowing how Cazic Thule was revamped, I would assume that the mob dropping this was a higher level than 55.

Real question is could a rogue pickpocket them from you on a pvp server?

Id really like to know how. You kick with your boots, and bash with a shield and , Oh yeah you Slam (if your a big race) with your shoulder. So again how do you do anything with your greives other than wear them?

/em looks at Milesgloriosus confused and waiting a reply.

Using the new /futter ability. Warrior only, offensive (boy howdy!) special ability, works only on humanoid mobs of the opposite gender.

Okay, sorry, I'll go play in my own sandbox now...:-)

in defense of these pants i will say this...
i play a warrior(54) and will say that i can use wisdom.not for being a warrior-but for being a smith.Wisdom increases my ability to smith successfuly drastically and it is difficult at best to find items with high wisdom usable by a warrior.not that 5 is "high" persay, but my point is that any war usable items with wis are fine by me.i promise verant,i wont *****.give me wis.

Grynne thought they made it so Str affected smithing if your str was higher than wis or int? Don't smith so not positive but remember reading it somewhere...
RE: WTH
# Mar 15 2002 at 6:06 AM Rating: Decent
The higher of wis and int will affect skill gains, strength will help successes

Thats no longer accurate. Higer int/wis increases skill up rate, and a high strength (over 175 or so) ALSO helps skill up rate. Nothing affects success rate except your skill.

# Mar 19 2002 at 3:31 AM Rating: Decent
Success of combinding in trade skills is determined by raw skill lvl and random number genertor.
