you must be one of the classes that can equip it to use it
you can tell because it says (Any Slot/Can Equip)
just think of it as if an item effect says "can equip" that means you must be one of the classes that can equip that piece of gear in order to use the click.

I just bought these LVL 50 DE SK, I cannot equip them. Is the recommended level a required level? The message says class/race or deity cannot equip, not level. Anyone have a clue?

Posted:Apr 12 2002 at 9:21 PM, Rating: Sub-Default, (Expand Post) I bought a pair of these gloves for my lvl 34 SK. I could *NOT* equip them. Sence when does recommened mean required? I do not mind VI making items only 51+ character can use, just make it clear! >:( And the effect is fixed if I remember correctly. It's now (Worn).
This is not what one would expect. The InU seems like it would be better of as a trigered effect, but it may have been changed. It would'nt suprise me if the effect is triged. It would be strange for them to proc InU durring a fight, and fall off a second later because you are fighting. And besides the only classes that can use these can cast Invisible to undead anyway, I think. Anyway the effect is kina wierd. But they are not bad gaunts BTW.
<The shadowknight Melchior strides into a huge, darkened hall ... as his eyes adjust to the gloom, he sees in the middle of the large room a massive gathering of assorted undead!>
<Melchior says> " Now ... watch as the amazing Melchior the Malevolent merely CLAPS HIS HANDS ... and fades into thin air! "
<Melchior claps his hands>
<The undead collectively gasp as the shadowknight fades from view before their very eyes ... then, they simultaneously break out into a round of applause!>
<A rogue, hiding in the shadows of the hall, reveals himself ... a look of outrage on his visage>
<A rogue says> " He hasn't disappeared, you fools! He's right there! SEE?? "
<For a long moment, the undead look at each other, momentarily confused. Then, howling with fury, the assembled undead pounce on the, now exposed, intruding rogue>

Decent AC for a SK or paladin. THe stamina and HP are very nice as well, and the other stuff is icing on the proverbial cake. The effect doesn't do that much for me, since I can memorize IvU in about 10 seconds and it doesn't take much mana. Kind of an odd descriptor for the effect though; I wouldn't expect it be combat-triggered. Hmmm...
ok, so when you are in combat these proc, THEN since u are in combat the invis instantly wears off....wow almost useful if it was triggered. Yes i know the site says triggered but i go by the picture.
