You guys realize 252 is the pierce cap right? Also, rogues physical pierce skill maxs out at 250, so there is hardly any room for improvement... 7% goes way beyond 252, so you only get minimal effect out of it.

Skills cap at 252, such a monk hand to hand, and no you cant raise skills -PAST- 252, but you can push them to it, rogue piercing is 250 at level 60, with this it is raised to 252, a slight inscrease but still an increase. Id use it on my rogue :-) and after getting a backstab mod main hand move this to offhand and still maintain 252 piercing

This weapon is pretty nice, considering the effort. All you need to do for THO is turn on attack and fall asleep. The only problems "lesser" guilds have had with this guy is ads :/
Cap for backstabs at level 60 is 240, not 252. Any modifiers of 5% or above put you at the hardcap of 252. Makes a huge different in the frequence of hits/doubles and average damage from your backstabs.

It means you wont get the full effects of it until you are 51. I believe that before that it will only be a dagger with no stats. Thats speculation on my part though, the fact of not getting FULL beni of it is the way I have heard it.

The thing about skill mods that suck is that you can't exceed the hard cap. A level 60 rogue with maxed piercing will receive no extra from the skill mod.
I thought the hard cap on skills was 255. Not sure what a rogue can get to via skill-ups, anybody know?
If a rogue can only get to, say, 240 skill (just throwing out a number) this dagger will bring them up to 255 skill. That's my understanding of how these work, might be wrong though.
