The Earring of Quirkiness is most likely meant to make people have a panic attack. Notice that the name is incredibly similar to the Earring of Quickness that Doomshade can drop, which is a 41% haste item.

You're thinking of the Earring of Endless Speed (the haste earring that DS drops). The two names look NOTHING alike.

Not a very impressive item...good for those hybird classes though...perhaps a bard would like it
Funny you should say that. I got this the last time we took Mr Rumblecrush down. I kinda like it.
Rumblecrush drops this earring, its not a random drop from random mobs in zone. Hope this clears things up a bit. G'luck getting one though as it fits every class in game.

Not really. No tank class is gonna take this over all the good AC earrings out there. +4 to your stats really isn't a big deal, either. Maybe a Hybrid who doesn't tank much or even a Monk. It's more suited for casters, for sure.

what the hell makes it quirky?
Probably the "quirky" little fight that some groups will have over who gets to roll on this. Another of verant's one-size-fits-all and fits them all too well items. I'm surprised that this threade isn't already littered with posts about what class this is better for. Wouldn't it be "quirky" if this rotted on the ground while the group argued over who got to roll on it, or who it was awarded to. I'm really starting to like class specific items, because all/all stuff leads to the inevitable "this is better for me because..."
basic idea in rolling for all/all items is not to roll if item is no improvement for you. No matter if maybe it suits one class better than the other that's not the issue, with these kinds of drops it's to see for who it is an improvement, and anyone who gets it as an improvement will be aqually with it. And as long as it is an improvement to somebody, the entire guild benefits from it.
Only a really good guild will ever get this, if your are in one of those that rolls for loot, leave, One of the GL/RL main jobs is to make sure that loot is awarded fairly, and to help the guild, /random doesn't do this. Not an easy job, but you are slacking if you have it, and don't.

A couple of friends of mine are in a guild on my server who are killing mobs that make this guy look weak. The recently took down terris thule. Oh and BTW, they random their loot.
I don't know, but I guess I wouldn't mind being "quirky", too. =)

OK, I'll ask the ineveitable question, what does it drop off of?
Dropped for my guild off of Rumblecrush, I think. Was pretty late at night, but I think it was Rumble and not Zelnithak that dropped this one.
Do what now?
