I was in CT last night and looted 2 of these. They are not no drop. I sold one to a vendor for about 15pp and gave one to a n00b in Rivervale. Even though it is recommended for lvl 35, I should have asked what AC it gave to a lvl 1 character with the new recommended level adjustment. Not a bad shield for a low level twink for straight AC, same as Sarnak w/o the resists. Verant did a nice job on this zone upgrade.

Stuck this on my level 1 SK thinking eventually it will have a use. At level 1 it gives exactly 1ac. I have it in the bank and I take a look at it every now and again, noticed it was at 2ac at level 5. Haven't look at it in a bit, maybe I should (maybe its up to like 6 ac now!)

Yea... Clay Guardian Shield is 25 AC 50 hps.. this thing doesnt have much purpose for the level you attain it at.. unless you like the look.

The Look on its is very Nice, same Look as the Fireclaw Carapace at the Cursersymbol.
I looted one of these to see what it looks like (ranger, no one wanted). It's ugly. It's supposed to look like some sort of primitive hide shield and does. Does not look like the inventory picture (though there are shields that look like that). Anyway, I'll stick to my testament of vanear when I want to pose as a druid.
If you could use one of these, and can get inside the temple, you could probably ask to loot one. Just shout that you're looking for one, and then go wait outside, so the Tae Ew Agressors don't decide to ignore the fact that your invis and kill you before you can even stand up.

Its no drop but anyone able to do cazic could probably buy a sarnak battle shield or get one(also 25 ac but some good resses and 40 hp) or has another similar shield. If a wis caster they probably have an ok ac shield with wis and other stuff.
Isn't even a clay guardian shield 25 ac.. but also 50 hp? I saw someone selling one the other day for 500 plat. Or was clay just 20 ac?
Might be fun for the different look the poster is talking about. I kind of wish that instead of the inventory picture people started pasting a small cutout of how it looks equipped.
