They must have just nerfed it. Always wore this in range. Yesterday, took it out to put a tradeskill trophy there. When I was done, the Dreadfang wouldn't go back.../sigh
Ther nerfed ALOT of ranged items, even rusty maces and dragoon dirks heh. I was playing my lvl 6 mage (lol) and i kept a rusty mace so i could find true north (when you drop something on the ground it points north) so i was lost in nektulos and dropped it on the ground and the dam thing wouldnt go back in =\ But anyways yeah i wast this 50hp face for my necro.
This also goes into my range slot. Not sure if this is an error, but it sure goes there first each time i loot my corpse.

I've camped this guy 50+ hours. He's popped 3 times and dropped the legs each time. I'd gladly pay 20k or more for the mask on Veeshan. The Tox spider has popped over 3 times as much as this guy since I started camping here. Whats your experience on pops and drops at this camp?
if ya think 14k is to mutch you insane and should be locked up. lol. this item is also Range equipable, making it worth ALOT more, but SSssshhh, dont tell our fav game maker or they will nerf the whole damn zone! lol
it drops from dreadfang as we all know. less than 50 feet from the wizard portal in CT. he is camped 24/7 on quell. the minute we dropped him and listed it in the auction channel, we was spammed with offers from 10k up to 17k. not only is the buff unlimited its also perfect junk buff.

Killed dreadfang in CT. He spawned close to the gnome at wiz spires.

I am making a wild guess that Dreadfang spawns in UTR, but I would appreciate it if someone who has killed him would tell is.

If it's so "Common" then why is there a 10K price tag on it? One of those two details is wrong.

High end game, you're not so much concerned with base stats since most of your other gear gets you close to or exceeds 255. Also if you can target others, it makes a very useful tool since it is unlimited charges. You can use it on any of your characters, twink or main. Also, just because it is a common drop, does not mean the mob spawns often :)

I got this the other day. The item now has a range of 5 listed on it and can be placed in the range slot. The effect is targetable.

And hbm hasn't got 50 hp and 50 mana, or as many resses. This cazic item is quite nice and droppable.. fun. I'd wear on my wood elf druid and use the ultra a lot (is it cast on self only?) though I see more than fine with infra.
Same ac though and HBM has 4 str? I tossed an HBM on my troll sk and it is quite nice, though it has no use of the charges as a troll.
Great HP/Mana, nice resists, infinite clickable Ultravision so you can wear another mask if you should choose to do so.
This is the first and only item I have seen yet that has unlimited Ultravision AND is tradable AND is all/all, not to mention some decent stats! There seem to be very few non-class-specific vision items at all, and now this one is unlimited! Please, someone shoot me now, before I try to take my butt in there and die a hundred times hoping for this for my blind warrior ;)

Very nice mask for you local barbarian or human. Also one of the few non-no drop items coming out of CT.
EDIT: Well, I wrote the above before almost all the new CT drops were changed to be tradeable. Oh well, still a nice mask! :)

I have to agree. This is great item for us warrior/Pally humans. Being a human I would carry this with me. Would have to clear out an inventory slot cause at this level I would think you would have a little better to wear and would probrably just use this for the effects. thanks veriant maybe i can get rid of this damn light stone ive had since lvl 5 lol
