I didn't see a level for this...maybe i missed it. I have a lvl 28 shaman i am trying to outfit in BloodStained gear. I was told this is good shammy gear...was i lied to or told the truth.

A 39 cleric in this? why? Only two pieces on the whole set have wis, and the sol-ro quest armor has better ac and saves. This stuff is for chain classes.

Last night we camped the mages torch again. My mage friend looted bloodstained arms, not legs or boots. And this happened one single time in hundreds of kills. If these bloodstained items really drop, they are very rare drops.

Hey there,
a friend of mine is trying to get the torch for the mage focus items right now. We spent lots of time in Najena lately and didn't see any drops so far. But a few minutes ago she confirmed some bloodstained drops so far. That's on the povar server.
Apparently it seems to be a rare drop.

This is on non-Legends servers? Can we get confirmations?
I have a lvl 10 rogue and would love this armor. The AGI bonus is nice for a low level and the extra HP from the STA is always a plus. Definitely nicer than the mammoth hide leggings I have on now. Anyone know a price for this? If not, it may be time for my ranger and a few friends to head up to najena and do a little camping =).

I ended up with nearly a full set of damask, a torch, and a broom, but not 1 piece of bloodstained armor. This was Fennin Ro.
Actually, these have been around, just not dropped in the game. A long time ago, they had some GM events across all of the servers, different per server, where bloodstained armor was the reward, musta been over a year ago, maybe two.Nice to see them actually obtainable though, pretty nice stuff considering where it drops now.

Nice to see VI finishing up some armour sets, and re-itemizing old world zones. Lot of the old world is underused, and that's a waste imo. Many of my fav hunting spots are old world. =)

I've noticed lately Verant has been releasing follow up pieces on old world armors. Bloodstained Mantle used to be one bad shoulder piece... hell, I still think it's pretty cool, LoL. Seeing this kinda stuff put into the game brings back those great memories of pre-Kunark EQ, when THE twink was that ogre warrior with full bronze and a BBC. BBC is Bone Bladed Claymore for those who weren't fortunate enough to enjoy the good ol' days. You know, I think I'll go get some of this, and maybe a BBC or a Mino Axe, and make a Paladin or a SK, and give him that phat shiz. If only I could get some Rubicite...

At lvl 40, I still carry my bloodstained mantle around. That +10 sv magic is not easy to let go of. :)

*remembers his BS mantle* I got it from a necro farming guards in East Karana. He shouted to the zone for the first one to find him, and being a ranger, it was not terribly difficult. I think I got that at level 16 or 17, and wore it until 30, when I semi-soloed Quillmane for my Pegasus Feather Cloak. (Which is why I'm still always seen levitating. And by semi-soloed, I mean Quillmane beating me to a pulp, and I was lucky enough to get to Paw where a warrior tried to help me, and a group tried to KS me, although I had it 60% dead or so. Gave the warrior a bunch of velium weapons for it because he hadn't gotten the expansion yet.)
Back to the other bloodstained pieces, since that's what this post is on. :) I'm thinking I need to go maul everything in Najena for a night sometime, just out of nostalgia. I used to get beaten to death by ogres down there quite a bit. (Remember when people actually camped the elementals? :) )
